Aiden's Ranking exam

◘Aiden walks out onto the ranking cliff and stares over the age with both swords in hand◘ "First step..."

-A 4th rank(4 stars) old looking man stumbled onto the scene, gripping his cane tightly. He smiled in the direction of Aiden, which stretched the wrinkles on his face.-

"Oh hoho. Youngsters these days want it all huh pal? If you can inflict a direct physical attack on me, you pass."

-The smile stamped on his face didn't falter. He seemed confident of his abilities.-

And no Gig, you never responded, as I thought.

◘Aiden turned to face the old man, with a quick bow he would be ready to go as he spoke.◘ "Alright mate, sounds simple enough, let's get this done." ◘Aiden dashed forward drawing his two swords as he ran, a smile on his face revealing his expectations for the exam.◘

*the old man would grip the handle of his cane drawing a hidden blade in the cane and the air around him would seem to spark once aiden entered the surrounding area he would feel shocks all over him especially within any metal items as the air around the old man became electrified literally and the old man would hold the cane blade awaiting attempt to land a physical blow past his defences*

(I'm assuming that i can see the electricity around you)

"Physical attack eh...sounds simple enough" ◘Noticing sparks around the old , Aiden began rethinking his previous statement, perhaps things wouldn't be as easy as he'd thought◘ "I'll begin now." ◘Aiden drew his two swords, he already had devised a plan. With Artemis in his right hand and Lucifer in his left, he began running full speed at the old man, buffing his speed at a specific point as he did. With the timing of is Buffs, his instantaneous speed boost would hopefully allow him to get in and accomplish his goal. Once in range Aiden would slash his sword Artemis which, being adept at channeling and absorbing high quantities of energy, would begin devouring the electricity running through the air around the man as his sword followed its path at the old man's abdomen. This would happen simultaneously as his left arm, covered in ice crystals, slashed with Lucifer, aiming for the man's legs, with Lucifer's ability to bend and flex it would target both legs at once, and with its ability to instantaneously accelerate and produce greater force, the likleyhood of the hit landing increased...or at least, in Aiden's mind it would.◘

*the old man would just chuckle and intensify the electrical field around him and since all objects have their limits the sword was possibly to overload with the energy unable to devour enough to save aiden from harm, as for the slash with artemis it would be blocked by the cane blade and lucifer blocked with the sheathe to the cane blade which normally would slash through it but it was reinforced inside with metal making it just like a blunt sword*

"try again sonny"

*the old man would swing the sheathe and blade to force the swords artemis and lucifer to fly backward dangerously close to slashing their owner with the force they were sent back at*

◘Using Lucifer's ability to instantaneously accelerate, the sword that was deflected backward, would instantly shoot back in the opposite direction, and hit Artemis, causing it to change direction using the force that was applied to the blade, Aiden would flip the sword around. Still close range Aiden would throw a punch at the old man, his right arms ability to channel lightning would also cause it to be immune to the electrical current around the old man. Activating his Bolt Velocity lightning so that he could increase his punch's speed mid flight, closing the gap quickly. The unexpected speed boost would hopefully catch the man off guard and get the punch through, otherwise it was time to be serious.◘

(how do you punch while holding two swords if i may ask?)

(oh i skipped a part by accident, I was supposed to flip the sword around and punch with it...editting)

*the old man would swing his cane blade to knock the sword loose from aiden's hand and with a specially delivered force that would numb his hand in the punch. then follow with dragging his cane blade up the sword to the handle and if the sword had a hilt to stop the blade from hitting the hand the sword would be made to jab the blunt end of the handle into aiden's palm forcing him to ditch the punch effort. if the sword did not have a hilt the blade would be in dangerous threat to slice aiden's fingers off while punching*

◘The hilt would in fact stop the strike and Aiden would magnetically recall the sword to his hand, quickly putting space between himself and the man.◘ "Alright, plan B" ◘Aiden released his swords as streams of lightning held Artemis in place, while an ice Arm held Lucifer in place, he pulled his Anchor charm from around his neck and threw it at the man, as it flew he amplified it's speed while it grew in size to extreme proportions, tearing through the ground as it flew towards the old man, lightning streaming off it amplifying it's speed even more.◘

*the old man would smirk and sidestep then use his sheathe to hook it under a hook of the anchor and twist it's path to shoot right back at aiden and incase the electricity was in danger of shocking the old man he would be using the sheathe simple because the outer layer was wood a material that would not let the electricity flow through to the old man. and because this reroute maneuver was done so smoothly it would keep it's momentum it had before for the most part and be speeding towards aiden at a rapid speed*

◘Aiden dashed forward, following behind his anchor, once it was redirected Aiden would flip over it once in range, and upon placing a single hand on it, it's size would instantly shrink and it would magnetize to his hand, as he came out of his flip, still heading toward the old man, ice crystals would form all around him, and once he landed in front of the man, a series of ice spikes would erupt from the ground shooting out in different directions along a straight path toward the old man, Aiden would reach for his guns as he continued running beside the trail of ice, puddles of water left behind with each step.◘

(shooting out as in bursting from the earth and flying towards the old man or just bursting from the ground and staying stationary?)

*the old man let out a chuckle and would use his strength to leap high over the ice, for an old man he was very very fit and while in mid air the old man would maneuver his weight so he would land not for from aiden but behind him, infact he would land right behind aiden yet aim his jump to be underneath the sun so if aiden looked up at the old man he would most likely be blinded by the sun. and once the old man was behind aiden he would unleash a rapid and powerful slash at aiden as well as a swing with the reinforced sheathe as a club*
