Shift comes from a desolate dimension where it rains 99.9% of the time. She didn't know who she was or how she was brought into life. Even though she had control over meterotites and such, she did not have basic knowledge for never having human contact before.One Day, something extraordinary happend. It stopped raining. Curious, Shift walked out from under her eon-old place under the great oak. With wide eyes, she saw a huge rainbow sparkiling in the sky, a bright sun lighting up the beads of light on everything. It was beautiful.

The next thing she saw even more amazing. A knight clad in pure white armor, her silver hair damp with dew and her eyes red from crying. And yet she strode on proudly through the unknown land, sheild in one hand, spear in the other. The knight noticed her, and well, the rest is history.

Shift was given her name from this Knight, who's name was Essence, and together they travelled until they found the things they were searching for.
