About Servants

To those of you who've seen Fate/Stay Night (*POINTS TO ANIME SECTION*), this should be quite familiar for you. If not, then this guide will explain everything you need to know about the Sunlight's very own Servant Summoning System~ (S3..?)


Servants are basically the souls of factual or mythological fighters and warriors from the past. In Servant terms, once a great warrior passes on, he/she has the option of signing a contract with a certain omniscent force to become a Servant, able to fight for the one who summoned them. And so, your Servants are famous warriors from the past, now upgraded with their own unique abilities and cool stuff like that.


Servants are seperated into 7 different classes, as follows:

Archer: This is another class that isn't necessarily associated with its name. Archer class Servants use a very wide range of weapons, from bows and arrows, to knives, to even gigantic axes if they have to. What unifies all Archers though is their wits and intellect on the battlefield; they're fighters as well as clever thinkers who can make decisions on their feet. Very well-rounded, these Servants are ones that take effort and studying to beat.

Assassin: These Servants rely on speed and quick, painless kills at heart. They also rely on anonymity or ambiguity, either hiding their true identity or taking on no specific identity whatsoever. For instance, Mordred would be a typical assassin-type fighter, while staying stealthy and the like. Kensei however, is a mythical Japanese swordsman with fighting personalities from many different nameless samurai, making him have no real past figure. He fights like a swordsman would, but is considered an Assassin. I know, this class is complicated, but I only put it here early cause of alphabetical order and whatnot..

Berserker: Berserker class Servants are those who either have a massive amount of strength, died with a serious conflict that was never resolved, or both. Berserkers talk little and think little, but hit very, very hard. These are the tanks of the Servants, taking hits and dealing heavy blows. However, their poor intellect makes it necessary for their master to command them at all times, watching out for the opposing force that may easily outsmart them. These Servants primarily use Axes, Broadswords, and other heavy weapons.

Caster: These Servants rely on their high amounts of intellect and prestige to cast spells and use other magical manifestations to their advantage. True mages, these Servants can use a variety of things in their environment to their advantage. They use almost no weapon at all, save the occasional wooden staff, yet their metaphysical abilities take serious skills to outplay and defeat.

Lancer: Servants who are experts at speed and weaponry skills are sorted into the Lancer class, and primarily and almost always use lances or spears, or other weapons of the long pointy type. Immensely acrobatic, they posess speeds that can surpass almost any other Servant class, and their expertise with the Lance is one that should be feared beyond anything else.

Rider: The mounted units of the past, Riders rely on a multitude of skills that vary intensely with each figure associated with it. The one thing that all Riders have in common is that they have a steed, or a mount to ride on and pick up both speed and power. Alexander the Great has his Charriot, Guan Yu has his mighty black horse, etc. This is one class that takes individual research both to know how to use well, and defeat effectively.

Saber: The classic class that is most popular among the Servants is the Saber class. Wielding swords and other blades of that type, Sabers rely on a mixture of both speed and power. Their skills in the blade are almost unmatched, and they're al class that also thinks on their feet, usually needing little if any guidance from their master during a fight. The Saber can also become a defending figure, protecting their master from fatal blows and ensuring that an enemy doesn't get through.


To summon a servant, you must be a member of the Sunlit Kingdom first and foremost. We simply don't have enough Servants for everyone, so to get that privelage you need to be part of this nation. Second, a member of this nation must be a Journeyman (5th Rank) or higher. Once that's covered, a character would go to the summoning chambers in the Sunlight's Mystical Affairs, and request a summoning roll. The summons are completely randomly generated, determined by two dice rolls. One for the servant's class, and a second for the servant in that class. If that servant's already taken, you do a re-roll. After you get a servant, people may either trade their Servant with another Master (servant-owner), or they can give their servant back to the summoning chambers and have a new one randomly summoned to them.

is there a limit to how many times u can retry?

You can try once every week, real life time. Also the roll feature is there when you make a reply.
