A Ranking Exam For Elohim

†Elohim walked into the ranking chamber already holding his Lance and waiting for a proctor.†

"I wonder who's gonna rank me..."

-Off in the distance, She witnessed some stranger entering the ranking chamber. As she made her way towards the stranger, his demeanor became clear, and his lance was now visible.-
"So this is a human..."
-She muttered quite quizzically.-

†Sensing a new person in the room, Elohim would turn to discover a seemingly normal young lady.†

"Hello, I am Elohim...might I ask who you are?"

†Elohim would begin to walk towards the young woman as he spoke.†

¤Decretum dropped from the sky from several feet above, landing before the two. The temporal rift that was used for his transportation ceased to exist once he stood up and acknowledged the two people before. He already had the opportunity of trading blows with Elohim and heard much about Rozalyn's pupil and was expecting less than spectacular since he was requested to watch over the ranking.¤

"You may begin when ready."

¤Decretum backed away from the two, allowing the distortion field to leave their presence, and would merely watch how the fight would progress as he leaned against the outer wall of the chamber.¤

"I am Noxalyz. How nice to meet a real human."
-She said firmly. Once Decretum came down and set the tone of a ranking exam, Noxalyz looked back at Elohim, raising an eyebrow. She hadn't planned on ranking, but since she was already here...-
"So can I assume we will be combatants?"
-Her respectful demeanor quickly shifted into a more cynical, yet gentle mood. A violet rose instantaneously appeared in her hand, in which Noxalyz would hold up to her nose and inhale its dreary aroma.-

Real Human...?

†Elohim stopped as Decretum appeared, setting the stage for a ranking exam, just what Elohim had wanted.†

"It appears so, a cruel fate to have to fight someone I've only just met."

†Elohim slid his left foot back and raised his spear, holding it with only his right hand, while setting up his Spot and Mark Territory as well as his Kinetic Amp Territory.†

"After you Fraulein."

†Elohim would say as his Psychic energy began swirling around his left hand as he held 3 of his knives.†

"Why thank you."
-She said with a peaceful smile planted on her face. She placed her hand on the ground, and suddenly the ground would become a thick liquid mass similar to that of honey (40 meters). Once this was accomplished, Noxalyz sent a pulse of energy into this liquid area, causing a tidal wave towering at 10 meters to trail towards Elohim. She then dashed back, summoning a another rose in her hand.-

"You're welcome"

†Elohim would slash with his spear sending a vertical slash of holy energy at the tidal wave, the energy would be enough to cut through the viscous ground and continue toward Noxalyz.†

-Once the tidal wave was cut, it would become as thin as water, rushing across the field. Once this watery substance got to Elohim's feet, it would quickly begin to solidify into stone. While Noxalyz did this in an attempt to trap Elohim, She dashed towards him, preparing for a swing of her little rose.-

†The wave of energy would continue toward Noxalyz, no doubt hitting her since she took off straight towards it. It would be this moment that Elohim noticed the watery substance creeping closer to him, instinctively he would begin move back, since it was a substance being controlled by his opponent. After putting a good amount of space between him and the steadily advancing substance, swirls of psychic energy would begin manifesting around behind him, 3 in total. He would continue moving back and the swirls of energy would move with him.†

"An interesting ability you have there..."

†He stopped finally, activating his Cut Chemist territory, he stood with his red hair swaying before his gold eyes as he watched Noxalyz as though he were looking for something.†

-Noxalyz took the hit, getting a cut slightly above her chest, thinking that if she continued forward she'd be able to strike unexpectedly. However, the vortex's of psychic energy threw her plan off.-
"Ah, same to you."
-She would try her stategy once more, making a straight dash for Elohim. She knew of the psychic energies, but she would take much more precaution this time. As she made her dash for him, Elohim would notice that his energy was being redirected from Noxalyz as it came near her. Now passing through his psychic energies uneffected, she slashed her rose towards his sternum, the area in which she was damaged. If the rose connected, it would slice the flesh as if it were a blade.-

†Elohim took notice of his psychic energy being redirected, the swirling energy would turn to face Noxalyz as she advanced forward, and from each of them would emerge a psychic arrow, one directed at her spine, one at here left leg, and one at the arm holding the rose, each of them were set to take one of the 2 different affects of his arrows. Since Noxalyz had just moved past the energy Elohim wondered if she'd actually be able to redirect these as they approached from behind, or if they'd land spot on.

As Noxalyz slashed the rose, Elohim would push the back of his spear down, while yanking the front up, resulting in a high speed vertical slash at the rose, though since it turned out to be harder than expected, it would be deflected upward, this attack would be closely followed by a kick to the stomach.†

-The arrows from behind were redirected just as the previous psychic energy was. It was thanks to her now activated Analytical eyes that she was able to fore see the arrows coming. As Elohim's spear strike was deflected upward, Noxalyz rotated her body toward Elohim, bringing her fore arm to block the kick. She looked Elohim in his eyes, and if he were to look into her eyes as well, he would see that her eyes were now a bloodshot red with dark crimson pupils (refer to signature).-
"..."
-Elohim would notice that it felt almost as if he had just kicked a thick plate of steel once he connected with her fore arm. She forcefully extended her arm being kicked forward, trying to off set Elohim's balance. From the liquid around the area because of the wave jutted out solid spires of ice, attempting to stab and pierce at the off balance Elohim.-

(Eh hem.)

†As Elohim was pushed off balance he threw the 3 knives that he had been holding all along, he amplified their velocity about 2.5x. With their current speed and the small distance between himself and Noxalyz she should be hit by them, or at least thats what he hoped for. Elohim then used the counter weight on the end of his spear to make him fall back faster, letting the spears weighted end hit the ground he kicked off the ground, flipping backward over the spear that was used to support his weight, this action allowed him to avoide the ice spikes from the liquid substance. He pulled the spear from the ground and thrust at Noxalz's abdomen, while throwing another 3 daggers straight into the air with his left hand, their speed also amplified like the previous 3. Since He made physical contact with Noxalyz, his Spot and Mark territory had met its conditions, and so all of his knives would continue targetting her body, even if she redirected them.†

-As the daggers came at Noxalyz while Elohim was falling back, she did a back bend, letting the daggers fly right over her. It seems that Noxalyz has Rozalyn's reflexes and flexibility. Bending back, she saw the daggers Elohim threw skyward and the spear thrusting at her stomach. For a quick countermeasure, she seeped into the ground as if it was water, and instantly after she went through the ground would become hard as steel (in this one particular area). The daggers and spear would pierce into the surface of the ground and become stuck. Violet rose buds began to grow around the field while Noxalyz remained underground.-

†The first 3 daggers would curve, hitting Noxalyz when she did her back bend, since she had expected them to continue forward. The knives would stab into her chest , leaving wounds, piercing organs. If she still sank into the ground, Elohim's spear would not be stuck into the ground because it touched the top of the ground. However, assuming that by some chance it did get stuck in the ground, he would just leave it there, pulling 4 daggers in each hand, and leaping to the top of the spear, balancing himself as he searched the area, waiting for her to appear again.† "Hmm..." †More Psychic energy began swirling around him as he waited.†

(You shoulda said they were following her first, because I thought that the first three didn't follow, since at first you didn't specify, and the second batch did, since that's when you decided to specify.)

-Once she felt the daggers pierce her skin, her pseudo blood solidified, keeping the knives from going any further. She was banking on getting her skin broken, and now that it has finally happened she can use her blood externally. Rose buds continued to sprout around the field, draining the energy near then, and so Elohim would begin to feel his psychic energy slowly drain away from his body. He was in the center of a field of violet rose buds, and so this feeling would continue until this field's rose buds decreased in population. While underground, Noxalyz blood seeped from her chest, and mixed with the minerals, mainly carbon, in the soil, forming a condensed layer of carbon around her body.-

†Elohim felt his energy being drained, and since it only started when the roses appeared, he decided to bet on that being the reason behind it. The psychic energy around him rose into the air, and in the form of many "rain drops" it began pelting the field, taking out the roses, their velocity and kinetic energy increased so that they even pierced the ground. With that he canceled his Kinetic Amp Territory, activating his Baron Territory instead. With the ground now weakened he tossed his 4 knives into the air, and with the Baron Territory, their density and shear strength would be greatly increased. After coating them with holy energy and Psychic Wave (hallucinogenic effect) Elohim would watch as they plummeted to the ground in a circle around him, piercing through with ease and heading straight for Noxalyz since she had been "marked". Psychic energy swirled around his hands as he waited.†

(It wasn't a matter of whether you indicated it or not, but a matter of when you said it. But it's all alright.)

-The rain would surely pierce through the ground, continuing down to the core, or some deep underground tavern. The roses were indeed taken out by the rain, but once pierced/destroyed/etc, these rose buds release a noxious gas that corrodes whatever happens to touch it. With the rose buds dying off left and right, this would quickly begin to fill the field. Suddenly a mild tremor was felt throughout the field before a geyser of magma spouted out the ground from underneath Elohim. This geyser seemed to rise as high as the clouds, and from it walked out a black figure with red eyes. It was Noxalyz, only she seemed different with this new coating on her skin.-
"Not bad. It would seem that either humans are highly capable of such abilities, or you aren't human."
-She never met a human before, so she was skeptical on what they were capable of. As the daggers continued towards Noxalyz, she slapped them away with her bare black arms, taking no damage from them. Once they were knocked away their vector values shifted, causing them to pierce into the ground and continue downward a bit. Once they were in the ground, it turned as hard as diamond, keeping them from coming back to the surface. She then glanced over at Decretum, wondering when he would say "I've seen enough, you can stop now." She was exhausting chakra to maintain this prototype ultimate shield she made on her body, so eventually she would have to drop it. As she stood observing, the gas was being repulsed from her body via vector control.-

†Elohim noticed the expression directed towards Decretum, the exam proctor, and figured he knew what she had in mind.†

"What do you say we call it quits her, I think we've displayed enough, what do you say?"

†This question was directed toward Decretum, even though Elohim was looking at Noxalyz when he spoke, a quick glance at the proctor would probably be enough to indicate this much to him. When he eyes returned to Noxalyz he closed his eyes and waited in patience, either for Noxalyz to continue, or for Decretum to end it. As he waited all of his knives began struggling, working their way back toward Noxalyz as best they could.†

-She stood there, trying to maintain a steady flow of energy. While she waited, she may as well tested her endurance by keeping this shield active for the moment.-

¤A few knives rained around the two examinees, creating a pentagram around them, which immediately activated by amplifying the knives nullification abilities. Effectively rendering whatever was in the pentagram powerless, especially since of the lowered ranks. Everything the two controlled stopped, Noxalyz's shield as well as Elohim's knives. Decretum himself jumped out before the two from a temporal shift he used to view the battle without getting injured.¤

"Interesting techniques... I believe you two have gained the same rank I hold. Congratulations and continue to grow for the Depths. Until then I bid you a solemn farewell."

¤With that Decretum disappeared back within his temporal shift, wandering elsewhere to entertain him.¤
