Relaxing....?

Eisei stumbled upon the field of flowers as she was wandering aimlessly, trying to figure out ways to enhance the nucleaur reaction chemical she was developing. The pale flowers and grass were rather beautiful, and Eisei had not permetted herself a rest sin the last 72 hours..... She could do with some resting. Sitting in the pale grass, she folded her legs into a meditation position, humming lowly, the sound echoing throughout the fields. She closed her eyes, and abegan to meditate.

"What in hell is that infuriating buzzing noise?"

*London cracked his neck to the right in annoyance with his left hand as he strolled through the field of flowers. It was a lovely day, till he had heard something very irritating like a bee in his ear. He turned his head to Eisei, his blonde hair swayed slightly from the breeze, perhaps peaceful. Yet his face was anything but. Approaching her, London stood above her with a slight pained look for he had gotten closer*

"Excuse me, err...miss...can ya, ya know...piss off or somethin?"

Eisei opened her eyes, holding up a single finger as she had learned while on Earth. It meant wait one minute, did it not? Her humming split, becoming more of a backround noise, as she murmured the ending of a Psalm. True, she did not know if God exsisted, but she believed there was only one God. He had many names, and everybody worshiped him in some way. It always took a load of her mind to recite from the Bible when she meditated, for it was the Religion she had time to learn while on Earth.

"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish".

As she finished reciting the Psalm, the humming died out, and she stood up swiftly, looking at London oddly, as if he had only just spoken to her. "....I do not understand the term" she said, her voice sounding intellectual but confused. She had spent most of her time on Earth in the hospital, healing, and was not farmiliar with such a phrase.

"Argh...what's it you people call it in plain English.....'stop that racket' or somethin like that.."

*he bit his accented tounge afterwards, for the humming stopped, and he seemed much more relaxed. In fact he cocked his blonde head to the side to look at her, her cheeks a little red from his behavior*

Eisei smiled, nodding. "Ah, my apologies then. I did not know there was anybody else here..." she said, gesturing to the white garden. Holding out her hand, she smiled again. "My name is Eisei. What might yours be?" she questioned, regarding the golden haired man.

*he took the hand, the shake firm. The blonde nodded in respect*

"Joshua Alec. Call me London."

*his cheeks grew a little red and he scratched the back of his head*

"Sorry you didn't get my language...I suppose you haven't seen any Aussies lately. Least one with mouth like mine."

"London" Eisei confirmed, smiling. Wasn't that a... city or something? How curious. She blinked. "Aussies...?" she repeated, furrowing her brow. Smiling with releazation, she nodded. "Ah. Australians. I was actually on Earth for some time. I worked in New York as a doctor, but I have travelled many places. Australia is one I do not recall going to, sadly" she said, bringing up her meories of Earth. She was born there, even if she never knew her parents. It was odd that she'd never heard such forms of speech, but when she travelled, it was usually not for enjoyment, but on buisness, as the renounded 'Witch Doctor'.

"New York?!"

*London threw himself back in surprise a little, perhaps exaggerated, as he was a very exaggerating person in the first place. An eyebrow arched in interest*

"Well aren't ya a lucky gal, eh? New York sounds like a nice place. A friend called em 'beautiful people' or somethin like that when he went before. N'don't worry bout if ya never been to Australia, we don't even got many 'roos out there like we're suppose to have."

*he laughed briefly then remembered something she said. Saying nothing at first, he looked around at the washed out grasses and flowers that littered the area in no specific pattern. Cracking his neck to the left, London sighed and brought up the subject anyway. Eisei didn't seem like a stupid person, so she wouldn't get mad if he asked right?*

"So ya make it sound like you didn't come from here."

*there was a pause*

"From Earth I mean."

Eisiei chuckled, nodding. "Yes, New York. It's not a really beautiful place all the time, though. We get pateients in there all the time... Crime is not exactly beautiful" she remarked, qouting her late boss.

Pausing, Eisei smiled. He dechipered that, hmm? Smart boy. "Well, yes, do believe I come from somewhere else. You know.... Not Earth. Though my first memories are from there.... I'm not exactly human..." she carried on. Unsure wether or not he'd believe her, she shifted her body into his exact look alike before him. "See?" she asked, smiling.

*his eyebrows raised in surprise, then nodded as if hearing from someone who merely just traveled somewhere with different customs. London seemed to look elsewhere for a second; it was not that he did not believe her. In fact he did, but it did not matter much to him. The basics of being a reasonable creature was all London himself cared about. He sighed, leaning back a little as if day dreaming*

"Not Earth, ya say. That sounds quite exciting. I would say somethin like 'I wish I were you', but I don't wanna bite my own tongue."

Eisei chuckled, shifting back to her own shape. "Well, I wouldn't say that. Being A Shrew isn't all that exciting". She fiddled with a strand of her hair, sighing. "I mean, I've never met another Shrew in my life. No parents, on nothing. Just a planet full of humans" she said, chuckling. "But atleast I could help them. I was a Doctor on Earth. What was your profession?" she said, eyeing London curiously.

"Me??Err......Me?"

*London studdered for once and stayed silent for a moment, not knowing what to say. He chuckled nervously*

"Well ya see...I don't really 'ave a profession specifically....."

*he changed the subject a bit suddenly, a bit intrigued at her statement*

"A screw...? So you're...related to mice?"

*obviously confused, his cheeks reddened in embarrassment*

Eisei laughed. London was an interesting person, even if he didn't know it. Eyes wide for a second, she laughed. "No, not screw. Shrew. It's.... another race. Unlike humans. You know?" she asked. Eisei was happy to share with him.

"...A shrew.........."

*he repeated it in his head, clearly confused. Then suddenly knocking himself on the head, he grinned, looking quite excited at Eisei. His golden eyes lit up like a child*

"Related ta mice right?"

*he repeated the same statement again with a grin.......then a rush of realization ran over him. He tilted to look behind her, then examined her face*

"...Tha' can't be right. Ya don't got a tail or whiskers or nothin. The shrews around the outback were a bit bigger than the ones around here though."

Eisei muffled a laugh, shaking her head again. "No, no, not at all. A shrew is someone who can use a power, called Navitas, to turn Knowledge.." she said, tapping her head, "Into power" she finished, as she let a drop of the vile in her pocket touch a flower. It melted into a power of nucleaur waste instantly. "See?"

*he nodded, watching her and saying not much of anything, even if his fingers burned to show her his own abilities*

"That's pretty damn fascinating. Do you usually have to kill immovable objects?"

*he laughed a little, looking at the remains of the flowers and wondering what it could be*

Laughing, startled by his comment, Eisei shook her head.

"No, no I didn't have too. Just thought it'd be a good example" she stated, smiling. Taking another vile from her soat, she removed the stopper and let a small drop land on the puddle of nucleaur waste. Instantainously, the flower rebuilt itself, looking healthier then before.

*his eyes watched the flower grow back, his mouth in a surprised and fascinated circle*

"Fancy tricks ya got there..."

*turning away from the flower, he contemplated what he could do, leaning his head back to look up at the sky. Suddenly he sat back up, his hands in front of him as if he held a basketball in between*

"I suppose this is close enough to those pretty type of things..."

*in his hands began to sculpt a flower made of pure fire, but condensed so deeply, it took on a strong bold color. One by one the petals came around a core, the color so deep, the petals looked beautiful, streaked with lines of orange. As London finished the stem and the leaf, he spin it very quickly with one hand and the colors began to blend strongly, swirls of orange played in red and dots of blue specked the core*

"A flower...or somethin like it I think!"

Eisei laugh, shaking her head. "No, no. Your flatter me. They're honsetly not much..."

But Eisei's look soon became like London's previous as she watched the fire-flower form in his hands. Looking quite bewildered, she stared at it in fasination.

"Such a deep concentration of fire power... London, that's amazing...!" she said, smiling. After that, if only just noticing the coloring, she smiled again. "And it's very pretty~".

"Oh, why thank ya, Doc. It's nothing much."

*he chuckled, the flower beginning to separate in all directions. The fire began to soak back into his hands, the petals coming apart and tearing at the core. The leaves shot and soaked right back into his palms. Eventually, nothing was left, all back into London. His elbows rested on his knees as his hands began to cool off in the wind, a sizzle*

Eisie clapped, geniuinlly impressed at such a thing. "I think it' pretty extraordinary myself, but..." She paused to frown as a strong wind knocked her hair out of its bun, letting it cirlet her face. Huffing, she returned to what she was saying.

"Is not everything in this world extraordinary?" she said with a smile, her eyes sparkling.
