Swallowing her pride

Kimi would walk into the room or whatever for requesting a teacher. She walked slowly, dragging her feet, cause just entering the room meant swallowing a good deal of her pride. She was looking for a teacher in fire and light techniques, but mostly fire.

A pillar of fire would erupt from the ground and as it did I would be standing there holding out my Scythe.

((Um teacher, would by definition need to be of a higher rank D: ))

*There would be a few moments past, before I would poke my head into the door way, looking around. I had heard a lower ranked guild member needed some help in training, and since I always made it a point to stop in, I would have come to check it out*

"Hello there....are you in need of some help in training...?"

*I would ask, looking at the girl*

Kimi would turn to face the newcomer, a slightly quizzical look on her face. Kimi had never seen this person before. She tipped her head slightly, a form of a bow. Shed very briskly speak, "Indeed." She made a fireball in her hand, that floated just above her palm. "Teach me how to better use this." If one listened really really carefully, a very faint "please" might even be heard. Kimi would disperse the fire in her hand and await instruction..

"Hum...my cup of tea...."

*I woulds say, striding into the room, as I sized up Kimi*

"Fire Style, Huh....well, lets see....where to begin"

*I started to form a few seals with my hands, as I then let my mouth fill with chakra, concentrating on Fire Nature Chakra. After a few moments, I would bend forwards, as I made my lips come to a whistle like formation. Instantly, a orangish line shot out of my mouth, and hit the floor of the room about 10 ft or so from us*

"Fire Style: Grand Fireball Jutsu!"

*There, a large ball of fire erupted, spinning around and around, as it shot off towards the opposite wall, as I continued to feed it. It would then hit the wall and explode, sending firely currents everywhere, which make everything on that side of the room black*

"First thing to know about fire style is that fire style produced through the mouth is usually dually as strong....by gathering chakra in your mouth, allowing it to pool and take its nature there, and then igniting it in a long stream, you can produce the optimal amout of flames......"

*I would say, as I turned back to Kimi*

"Fire style produced outside of the mouth, like that fire ball there, is faster, but with that speed cuts down on power too.....you want to give yourself as much to work with as possible....So, try to gather chakra in your mouth now....and don't expect that much flame at first, you'll have to work up to it...."

*I would say, as I stood to watch what Kimi was going to do*

Build...chakra... She neer really thought about it, she always just... did it. But shed try... unsure of the outcome. Shed take in a deep breath, and hold it for a little bit. A she held her breath, she tried to see if she could focus her energy to her mouth. Then shed try and blow out fire. At first, thered emerge a small flame, that then trickled out into a puff of smoke. Kimid cough, then giving a determined look in Chizunis direction before taking a couple short breaths and trying again.

*I would give Kimi an encouraging smile, as I nodded, giving her the sign she had the general idea, and now she just needed practice. I would lean against a near by wall, as I continued to watch, and wait to give pointers as Kimi practiced*

Taking another breath, Kimi would try again to the same result. The next two attempts ended the same. As Kimi started to get exasperated and frustrated, she took shallower and shallower breaths, and didnt take any time in between attempts. She eventually came to the point of puffing out smoke, like a baby dragon who swallowed a cigarette. Getting annoyed at nothing but smoke, she took a really deep breath and blew out real hard, shooting flames everywhere.

"Nicely done...."

*I would say, nodding to the last attempt, which was somewhat of a success*

"Now, once you start to get that down, you will need to learn how to shape the flames into a ball or whatever you want it to be shaped into...."

*I would explain, continuing to lean against the wall and watch*
