Manyshot's arrival

*Manyshot would park his motorcycle upon arrival and look at the towering mini-palace. Manyshot then entered the tower approaching the office of the king and queen. He would then knock on the door assuming that he would have to deal with snobs as he has dealt with before in his busy days.*

*she was sitting at her office desk, Spartacus out for a few hours. Kings sat in the corner, sleeping as usual. Alyss sighed, her legs on her desk, filled with nothing but bits of papers, small notes to self. Dreaming wearily, she listened to the passing good natured administration. A secretary looked into the office looking very shy. Seems like the girl was new. The girl backed away quickly, squeaking*

"...What an absolutely boring day. Eclipse is attacking the kingdom, an incestuous pair of twins lurk about and Spartacus is out doing the worst thing he ought to be doing. Shopping."

*taking her legs off the desk, she did a very slow spin in her desk chair, her soft long pink hair waving gently*

*Manyshot would overhear the part about eclipse and being a mercenary he would easily recognize a business chance and hold a business card out. He would then open the door slightly and poke his head in and speak facing Alyss*

"excuse me but i couldn't help but overhear something about the eclipse. i would be happy to offer my services."

*He would open the door holding out a business card placing it on the desk speaking as if he was this master assassin overexagerating his reputation's titles*

"name's Manyshot mercenary from the east the fabled master of iron sight"

"Hello Manyshot."

*she took the card absently, looking to the newcomer. He wasn't familiar, at least not to her eyes*

"You're a mercenary huh. Well isn't everyone.."

*sliding the card into a drawer, Alyss gave a small smile*

"You must be new to Sunlit. Welcome. I am Alyss and Skye, the king, and I, we run things to the best of our ability."

*Manyshot would take note of her name but take care of business first*

"indeed i am i came here mainly in search of business since my current base of operations is slow lately" *Manyshot would bow to Alyss*

*she held up a hand quickly*

"Don't bow. I can't stand those who bow to me..I'm not used to being in a seat like this."

*Alyss yawned a bit*

"And business....yes, business here is still a bit slow, our king is trying to get it all under control."

*taking a deep breath, she tilted her head to look at Manyshot closely*

"...You aren't really here on business are you? You must have come here for a different reason."

*Manyshot would stop himself from bowing*

"well as i had said i came here mainly for business so yes there is another reason i came here. When i researched my family lineage i found some record of family here and well i thought if i was to go anywhere for business, i may as well go where family is."

"Oh? You have family here do you?"

*she said, absently paying attention. Her back leaned against the chair, her pink hair enveloping around her. *

"Perhaps I can help with that then. Do you know their name? Age?"

*Manyshot would play along*

"well i am pretty sure you'd know her. Because her name is Alyss Frey"

*Manyshot would say acting casually*

*the room was quiet..and then suddenly her laughter filled the room*

"You're joking! I don't have hidden family! That's fucking ridiculous."

*she sighed spinning her desk chair a bit*

"You must have made a mistake or something."

"i doubt family trees make mistakes"

*he would say then place printed off files of his family tree and point to his name then follow the path to her name*

*she stared at it for a while, a small nervous sweatdrop upon her temple*

"You really think so huh...that you're my cousin or something of another.."

*she quieted her voice and scoot the paper towards him*

"Well, I don't believe it. Nor would it matter too much anyway. It's not like family had ever..."

*Alyss paused for a moment*

"Not like family has ever done me any good anyway."

"what do you mean "family has never done any good?"

*Manyshot would ask refolding and pocketing the printed out documents?*
