Greetings to a Weaponmaker

We've been getting a good amount of questions regarding the move and the time skip that the move will created for all characters. So here are a few general questions, along with their answers, and of course feel free to post any more concerns you have here.

Q: What abilities or weapons will we be able to add or expand on?
A: Not a whole lot, honestly. I'd say a few improvements on what you already have, but not by a lot, as well as maybe one or two new techniques. Let's not do a major overhaul, because that would then disrupt your rank, which will not change in the move. As for weapons, …

He chuckled. By now the thought of having any energy in him, aside from the forces that allowed him to live, wasn't even a distant fantasy.

"I have no need for energy, at this point. I'm quite content with where I am... Only suggesting perspectives from one who uses it almost exclusively"

Now Tatsui felt a little embarrassed..afterall it seemed that it wasn't that Sedgar wouldn't do energy, but that he couldn't. And here he had to settle with it, therefore making up his passion.

"What can I do then, to help? Any experiments you're working on?"

"Well."

He got up and went to the center of the lobby, as an enormous rack came down from the ceiling, filled with all sorts of prototypes and devices. He scrolled through it, as it opened each compartment he was viewing one by one, until he found what he was looking for, taking it out while the rest of the rack went back up into the ceiling.

"There's this.. It's supposed to be something that the Academy comissioned, but I don't think I've got it all... right."

In his hands was what appeared to be a cross between a wand and a staff, looking very much unlike a mage's tool. It was very mechanical-looking, glowing blue with synthesized chakra symbols and whatnot.

"If you'd give it a spin..?"

Taking it from his hands, Tatsui looked over the symbols. They were interesting, ones that she actually had seen before. Many well known practioners of the Chakras used them. She didn't have these types of energy threads in her, but she would try it out anyway. She looked to him and laughed a little.

"Am I supposed to say...'Abracabra' or something?"

Tatsui fiddled with it in her hands, joking with him. Honestly had no idea how to start.

He circled around her, looking at both how she was handling it and where the weapon was. Damn, no change in its energy..

"..the intention was that.. it didn't require anything but the user's own energy and life force..."

"S-Sorry."

She said bashfully, but ran her hands along the edges of it anyway, feeling out the metal. Wait a minute..

"Have you ever thought of using another material other than some kind of metal?"

Tatsui asked him, handing Sedgar back the wand like staff.

"Afterall, some other materials can be much more energetically conductive."
