A mission for Sedgar

*Rozalyn's clone entered Sedgar's wavrehouse, of course in search for Sedgar. She had to converse with him.*

((I love how no one respects the door anymore..))

The usual sounding of alarms and cameras flying around the 'intruder' would happen as Sedgar hastily disarmed the security systems. He went to the main floor straight away to greet his guest. She seemed powerful, but not quite all there..

"..and you are?"

*She turned to Sedgar, waving at him. she seemed unfazed by the alarms, but it may just be the fact that its a clone. "Hello, I'm Rozalyn, well, a clone of Rozalyn...I wanted your help, Sedgar." She asked sincerely. *

"A clone, eh? Well that explains it."

Obviously if a clone was sent, then something must be preventing the real Rozalyn from showing up. His analytical mind wasted no time in putting pieces together; Sedgar had to help with whatever Rozalyn wasn't here for. ...but that actually didn't answer much.

"Well, what's the situation?"

"You see, a genius technopath named Gig is declaring war on the Depths, and I figured that with your expertise with technology and mechanics, you would be a great assist against Gig and his mini army." She tried her best to sound sincere since this was never Rozalyn's forte. "I know this is asking for too much, since you're putting your life at risk...so I'm not forcing you. I couldn't blame you for declining to get mixed in with another nations affairs."

He leaned against his desk and looked at her, half-smiling.

"A genius technopath you say? With a mini-army of robotics I assume?"

He chuckled.

"My, what a rivalry.."

He leaned upwards, seeming to be lost in thought for the moment.

"I'd much enjoy putting my skills to that sort of test, but.. it is another nation's affairs I'd be meddling with. And using resources for."

Looking back down at the clone at eye-level,

"What's your offer?"

"You ever wondered how it would feel to be able to study reality? Test it, and warp it?" She said with her eyes slanted. She felt as if it would be something interesting for a scientist such as Sedgar." I could also supply resources...you would just have to visit my lab at my house. Someone should be there to help you get what you need."

"Hmmm.."

He didn't like the thought of relocating. That and the thought of reality manipulation was.. sort of going off the fringes of what he deemed was delving too far in the ways of energy manipulation. Though to test it.. well, that h didn't know so much about.

"I'll consider it. Though, I do hope you realize that I'm an indoor man. I only change the battlefield with inventions, not my own body. I'll require protection in whatever facility you'll have me in."

"That can be taken care of, although it may involve you leaving sometime soon." She pointed northeast. "Go to the Mile-High Mesa, you should find someone by the name of Jecht. He may act like he doesn't want to be bothered with you, but he always enjoys company."

"Mile-High Mesa.."

That was an odd name. Though Sedgar himself never did bother to explore most of Escellsia; instead leaving his own surveillance systems to map out and plot various regions. He'd even given some names of his own thinking.

"Meaning that peculiar slab of land that just shoots into the sky?"

"Yes. that one. He was working on something last I heard...Tell him I sent you, and he will comply without trouble." She said with a smile. The clone began to fade away, but tossed something to Sedgar. "Give this to Jecht. With it, he can..." And the clone dispersed.-
