Ascent of Escellsia

Hard to believe that it's already been almost a year since Escellsia was though up and built. I think we're all aware of how far we've come since then. However, it's equally hard to believe that getting launched and set up as we are here was only the first step to Escellsia's existence. It might be obvious to some, but may also come as a surprise to others, but we have long outgrown this place. If we want to continue our growth and our open prosperity, then we first need to change our place of creativity.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we present to you Escellsia.com.

The massive project that we've all been a part of will continue to grow independently, now with our own domain name and full control over our own content. By May 30th, 2010, all operations of these forums will continue at http://escellsia.com/forum/index.php

Of course, a move to the new website isn't all that we have in store for you all. As many of you are aware, Escellsia hasn't really gotten anything particularly "new" in the last few months. To confront that backtracking, the new domain and website will be loaded with all sorts of new content for your characters to enjoy.


On the new website, you will find:
- Paradiso and Inferno, Escellsia's renditions of both sides of the afterworld.
- Dozens of new landscapes to expand your scenic horizons.
- The Nexus, a new guild built to take on the overflowing Academy and introduce its own school of Magick.
- The Empire of Distorted Reality, our first homegrown Nation based on the Soul Eater franchise.
- The Order will be getting an upgrade to its arsenal of possible aspects to achieve.
- Each Guild will now have a Ring and Family system, similar but unique to that of the Reborn! franchise.
- An Updated Economy
- Topic icons to quickly designate and identify the type of roleplay in every thread.


Of course, we're certainly not moving right away. All characters have until May 30th to finish old threads and make necessary preparations for the One Year Skip that the move will entail. The Administration will do everything in its power to ensure that your threads are completed in a timely and orderly manner as well.

One final note, while the new website is currently closed, feel free to head over there and register your characters now, but please be sure not to post anything more than your character's information for the time being. That's all, and we'll be sure to post updates to this gigantic next step in our creation.

Well we're nearly finished with the whole Eclipse thing, since I think Grimny has it under control. But the attack on Depths is a question to still be fiddled with. I'll have to see where it is by ask of Rozy.
