On Natures.

Since all of you haven't heard much about how Natures work, I will try to explain them to you. The Natures are all associated with separate compass directions. If anyone has heard of such a belief, each direction corresponds with a personality. Norths are one way, Souths are another, etc etc. Each are very different in the way that they act. For example, Akroma, myself, is associated most with the North direction. Norths are leaders, independent, confident, protective of their ideas with a strong sense of justice. However they can be pushy and sarcastic, make decisions in their mind without thinking it over. This is exactly how Akroma will act. She makes split second decisions and of course, she is very wrathful to those who do her wrong. This is the same with Escalus, who is associated most with the East, will act like an East: logical, formal, conservative, etc.

So why does this matter? The fact is that us Natures control a great many of your roleplays. Including roleplaying your Pokeman, allowing things to happen in threads by influence. The roleplays depend on the Natures, which rely on their personalities. So fer instance, Theodora happens to stumble upon on you and is a nice and roleplays the Pokemon you are trying to catch easily. But Kami is a separate Nature, and therefore he would roleplay the Pokemon differently.

You might be thinking "Well then Natures are over powered in a thread, right?". Not exactly. Remember that Natures can post anywhere they wish. Even if a Nature is already currently "occupying" the thread. Again an example is...Akroma decides to make something bad happen to a character because she is in a bad mood. Kami can make a strong stop to that because he also is a Nature and can influence something to protect the character or destroy whatever Akroma might have created.

Here is something different though. If all Natures have different directions...therefore they must have an affiliation with the current directions in Escellsia. This is true; where ever the nature currently is depends on their power in that one place. Including being able to have an actual body: Escalus cannot have a body of a full adult male in the direction of South (though he can still influence objects and other things in that area), however he can when he is East of Escellsia, since that is his specific domain. He has the full of his power on the East and is more of a character, instead of being an omnipresent Nature. When he is NorthEast, he instead takes the form of a male child and has only half of the power he does when he is East.

So all of this is being set into motion. Natures are still being developed, but I can tell you that there will be 5 in total. But there are only 4 directions!? D: Yes there are, you smart little children. x3 You shall see our plans.

Oh yes, and of course if any of the admins have protests, state them and we can come up with some compromises and for those who have questions, both admins and members, speak up! We won't bite.

Wait, so each Nature can post in any other, just only have human form in their designated direction, correct?

Yep, that's right. And when you have a direction where is half of a Nature's, they are of child form. So for Theodora, she's be a fully grown female adult when she is West, but both of us would be children when in the Northwest.

Alright, I knew it before, and then I confused myself a bit this morning xD. Hehe the things that could be caused by a couple of children...

So do I choose a direction, or is it predetermined? o.o

Predetermined, I guess. Considering you're already listed as South.
