A talk with Miles.

*Lin had dragged him to the Sunlit Plateau, where the sun was setting by now. It cast a hue of orange over the land. The young girl looked over to Miles who didn't seem to have shrunk any; he still towered over the smaller blonde girl. By the time she had dragged him to the middle of the plateau, she let go of his hand, then turned her body to him, not particularly looking into his eyes. Her lips stayed sealed, and her eyes sad*

*miles faced linnea* "i apologize if my forgetting has hurt you but the mental war i waged with..."him" must have caused some damage mentally. i call him "him" because he even problay made me forget his name...or its name"

"So you don't remember a lot of things, huh?"

*Lin stopped her depression, realizing it was not only her in pain but it was Miles as well. Taking a deep breath, she equalized herself, then nodded*

"You told me some past of your past but..."

*she shook her head, then looked away. How she wished she didn't have to tell him he was a monster in his past, killing people left and right without remorse. Or how he had become human*

*miles was worried about what he would be told* "but what?"

"I...I can't tell you. At least I can't...will myself to tell you so much."

*Lin sighed, distraught*

"But I can tell you that you were not born human....perhaps one day you will know the rest of the story. The rest of your past..."

*the wind blew a little ominously, and Lin humorously stuck her tongue out at Nature's silly attempt at clique. Then Lin smiled to him, a hand patting the side of his arm reassuringly*

"Don't worry about it now at least..."

*miles put his mind to ease and smiled focusing on the good* "ok" *miles looked at his second skin on him* "although im sure im not human if i can do this" *his looks shaped to a man in a leather jacket with a hood over hsi face hiding hsi eyes in shadow* (battle miles)

"Ah!"

*Lin jumped, recognizing the form immediately*

"I remember this person! Or...you I should say."

*she tilted her head to peek under the hood*

"Do you look like the same person..?"

*his face didnt nothing about his look was the same, miles turned back to kind miles but one thing was noted as different from his second skin it had a liquid steel tint to it in the undercoating* "where is this place anyway?"

"This is...."

*Lin looked around the plateau, a bit lost herself. She turned back to him, sweat dropping nervously*

"I actually don't know. Haha I think I just dragged us to the nearest place that looked quiet... Sorry.."

*her boot gently kicked a pebble shyly, her face a little red*

"well at least here im with you" *miles said then looked around* "r u still afraid of heights? i was gonna find a home adn set up my room and to get there iw as gonna test out a hover idea. it will be bout 3 inches off the ground is all"

"3 inches.... I think I can do 3 inches."

*Lin nodded, her face a bit red from what he said at first, flattered*

"You like flying don't you...?"

*miles held out one hand and liquid metal dripped from his second skin beneath it and formed a board that hovered through the air via air manipulation* "yeah and ive always wanted to try this" *miles said stepping on teh hovering formed metal board*

"Oh....I'll just sit and watch you then. You know me...something like that is a bit extreme."

*Lin smiled, backing away from Miles as he stood on the hovering board*

"but im going towards my apartment to set it up" *miles thought* "what if i form it into a horse and ride there?"

*Lin perked to hearing of his apartment*

"Where do you mean? And where are you staying? May I help?"

"i was wondering if the guild i joined houded their members" *miles spoke*

"I haven't checked myself..."

*perking up Lin spoke again*

"If they do I'm pretty sure they house me too!"

*she thought for a moment, then saddened*

"But that would mean Cassius would be living elsewhere."

"i got one idea to help your situation, but i would need 2 things, 1 some free land, and 2 aproval from the local land owner aka the leader of the nation/guild preferably nation. and i may even need some breaks and possible rest" *miles explained*
