A Few Guidelines

This website is now officially closed. All topics must be finished, and all character must register on the New Website All ranking exams will be finished and ranked by a seperate proctor, and all money will be reset to $200 for everyone in order to make way for the new currency system, coming soon.

We've been getting a good amount of questions regarding the move and the time skip that the move will created for all characters. So here are a few general questions, along with their answers, and of course feel free to post any more concerns you have here.

Q: What abilities or weapons will we be able to add or expand on?
A: Not a whole lot, honestly. I'd say a few improvements on what you already have, but not by a lot, as well as maybe one or two new techniques. Let's not do a major overhaul, because that would then disrupt your rank, which will not change in the move. As for weapons, …

These are a few suggestions, not necessarily required, for you to follow to better enjoy your experiences on Escellsia.

- Out and About Threads are random. Anyone can pop in at any time, given good reason to, if you open up a landscape thread. Titles such as "searching for a pokemon" or "looking for a battle" can easily be disregarded and have something completely different happen. In a sense, all the exploring threads are completely random. What happens happens, and your character has to go with it (unless specially arranged between people.) Alternatively however, it is indeed possible to put a note to others asking kindly not to interfere. Examples are: "Out in the Ashalnds (Skye and Rose only please)" or "Training in the fields (solo please)" Politeness is the key to respect, even in petty things like a topic title.

- Global Moderators and Admins have access to all Extra Accounts, and can use them as necessary for anything, including storyline development, nameless masses of characters (for the mass death effect, etc), or even ranking proctors when there is no one else available (see: the General's Exam in the Academy.) However, if these are abused in any way, then the mistakes will be corrected.

- DEATH. This is a huge question lately. The short answer is that anyone can die in any place that isn't a Nation or a Guild. The longer answer of course, is that people should always be wary of whom and how they kill each other. On Escellsia, random senseless and unexplained death is severely discouraged, and murderers hunting down the lowly 7th rank characters for an easy kill will suffer consequences in the form of Nature's Wrath of all kinds. We do ask that murderers keep in mind that they are essentially there to enforce Karma. If you do good, you get rewarded somehow. If you do bad, you get punished somehow. Just be careful when you decide to kill someone, and understand the risks you take.
