Escape

Kimi stumbled. Stumbled into the forest. She walked briskly, once entering the forest broke quickly into an all out run. Running, it seemed to ease her mind of its troubles. She had to focus on what she was doing, and in such she couldnt think about anything that was bothering her. She hopped, jumped over obstacles, moving quickly and fluidly through the forest. She wasnt worried about getting lost, shed learn how to get out of the woods as easily as she managed to end up deep in them.

Her mind quickly flashed through recent events, completely befuddled as well as angry at herself for letting anything happen in the first place. Her mind paused, stuck on the most recent occurance, struggling to get a grip of it. Her logic was begining to jump to extremes. She struggled in her mind to remain solid, to not let her raging emotions overwhelm her.

For an instant she was blinded by sheer rage, the thick red mist blocking her vision. And in that instant, she stumbled, and landed hard on her face. She lay there a minute, then let out a scream of utter agony that echoed through the forest.

Once the echo died off, she pushed herself up a bit, crawling across the dirt to a nearby tree, using it to pull her limp body upright enough so that she was on her knees. Her face against the tree to support herself, she remained like that for a while, her body shaking slightly.

the General came out from behind a tree and saw the girl there. He looked at her,

"What bring you allll the way out here" he said

Kimi, seeming to ignore him, would at first shoot huge amounts of light waves at the stranger, hoping to scare him off. She didnt move, but instead remained unmoved from her position, panting heavily.

the light waves hit the General and vanished. He flung his hand into the air causing light waves to blast towards the sky not hurting a single thing.

"Obviously something has scared you. I am not here to hurt you. I am the General. Supreme Representative of the E.A.S.T. Empire and I can help you" he said holding his hand out.

Kimi fell over backwords, hitting the solid ground with a thud. She didnt seem to mind, as her eyes slowly refocused on the clouds. "Where am I?" She asked the General bluntly, she had to work to keep her sharp edge to her words. She rolled over, back towards him, as she awaited his answer, not caring about a thing other than where she was and how she got there...

the General held his hand out to help her stand back to her feet.

"you are in a jungle which may get dangerous if you do not leave" he said politely.

Kimi wasnt the type to take help from others easily. She was far too stubborn and egocentric. So she ignored the hand, as she could easily do since she was not facing him. "Jungle eh? Heh, good..." She still breathed heavy, but she appeared to be ok at the moment. After lying there another minute, she stood up on her own. Now seeing his hand, she batted it away, "Im not afraid of the jungle. Hell, the jungle should be scared of ME." She then walked off into the mist.

the General looked in her direction as she walked off into the jungle.

"I only wished to help" the General said walking in the same direction.

He didn't know where he was going and was to lazy to get his jump jets going.
