A Fight Please♥

Trini floats into the area by means of her parasol. When she lands, she closes it and looks around. "Wow~. This place is...black. Wonder what it looked like before~." She taps at the ground with the ferrule of the parasol. "I wonder what the chances are of another eruption." At the thought, she gasps and looks around frantically. "I hope not soon!" She glances down at her parasol before opening it and raising it above her head as though that would save her should an eruption happen.

Umbra was walking around, dazed as always in her own little world. She enjoyed the blackness of this place, particularly the history that it had. Humming a little to herself, she immediately noticed the parasol in the distance, wondering what the source was. In a few seconds of running towards it, she would no doubt find out.

At the sound of footsteps, Trini turns around with a panicked look. She runs towards the other, making motions to turn around. "No! Stay away! The place is gonna er-OOMPH!" She trips as she runs and faceplants into the ground. She sits up on her knees, tears welling up as she rubs her nose. "Ouchi-chi..."

As she heard the girl screaming to her, Umbra came faster, and even more so when she went up to her after she fell. Her face became sympathetic, as she saw that it was only a young girl.

"Now now, it'll be alright.. It's been years since this place has seen any magma."

She dampened her hand with soothing water and ran it over the girl's forehead, easing the pain.

Trini sniffles once more and rubs away her tears. "R-really? Alright then...I'll trust you and since we don't hafta worry bout lava...Let's fight!" She hops up as though never injured at all and flails her arms (and subsequently her parasol) energetically.

"U-um.. alright then.."

She was a little confused at this girl's behavior, but stood up and went with it. She took a few steps back and stretched a bit, finally assuming a lazy stance of some sort. It'd been ages since she actually fought.

Trini twirls her parasol around, bowing politely before dashing towards the other. Her parasol closes as she swings it up towards the girl, a blade of love energy shooting from the ferrule.

"Ah.."

She wasn't expecting such an attack from someone of such small stature, barely leaping out to the left. As she did so, she positioned her hands to Parasol's side as she kept going, aiming a nicely formed shard of black crystal water towards her, point-blank. Afterwards she would skid to a halt several feet away.

"Naturally, in an arid zone.."

As she completes the swing, bringing the parasol down, the force pulls her forward slightly, making the shard graze the back of her outfit. She attempts to look around and pouts at the hole. "Aaw. I really like this outfit." She huffs and glares at the other the way a kid would glare at an adult who took their favorite toy away. She jerks the weapon back, opening it before heading towards the challenger once more. A pale pink light glows from the ferrule as she jumps up above her and jabs the parasol down towards the foe.

Umbra leaps out of the way again; obviously she hadn't even thought about her surroundings, and was at a serious disadvantage without access to liquid. She might have to call this one off, unless...

"Shadow, revert..."

Where she landed, Umbra placed her hand on the ground emitting a dark shadow to seep through the ground. After a few seconds that bit of ground would become fresh magma, running freely like water in a sizable pool. It was hot, but not as hot as real magma, and had the substance needed for Umbra to act.

"Sorry about earlier... I'm ready for you now."

At the sight of the magma, Trini pulls up, her tiny wings supporting her weight. "How interesting~... You say you're ready now. Show Trini~!" She stays in the air, her parasol held in a defensive position.

She waved her hand over the pool, as the magma-liquid would begin to float in front of her, seemingly weightless while under her influence. Umbra traces with her fingers, weaving and molding the magma to become a large ring-shape, with a line going down the middle For final touch she added a hole just large enough for her finger dead center in the ring. Her eyes glowed a red-violet color and the entire shape crystalized, sharp edges forming along its outer rim.

Her weapon complete, Umbra spun it in the middle finger of her right hand, almost at the speed of a spinning saw, and charged for Parasol.

((I seriously thought I responded to this already. Mea culpa. ._. Also, are you sticking your middle finger out cause if not, I can't imagine this weapon being practical seeing as how I can only imagine your other fingers getting chopped off. >> ))

Trini stares in awe as Umbra creates her weapon and claps a few times. She giggles as the other charges her and holds her ground...er...air. She closes her parasol and lifts it up, holding it like a bazooka of sorts. She waits until Umbra gets dangerously close and grins. The light coming from the ferrule glows an intense, bubblegum pink before Trini launches the attack. "Labu Labu Beam~!" A large, heart shaped energy blast fires from the parasol towards Umbra while the force sends Trini flying backwards.

((It's spinning at the very tip of the middle finger, which is usually the longest finger on the hand. So no dismemberment of digits =p))

Umbra raised her disk in front of her to take the beam blast, the intense spinning mixed with her own shadow energy repelling the blast and sending it elsewhere, making the ground it hit somehow even more black. Continuing towards Parasol, she leapt and then grabbed her disk firmly with her hand so that it stopped spinning, aiming to slash at her.

Trini puffs out her cheeks as her attack is deflected, but quickly switches gears back to the matter at hand. She twirls her parasol around, holding it pointed towards Umbra, and opens it up. It begins to slow her down and also serves as a shield. The rib becomes surrounded in love energy to strengthen it. When the disk things clashes with it, it makes the sound of wedding bells and cute little hearts fly from the area of impact. She finally gets control of where she's going and rights herself, pushing the parasol up against the disk in an attempt to knock Umbra off guard and swings at the other.

Umbra was baffled at the sounds it made upon impact, and as it repelled her she redistributed her weight enough to land on the ground right in front of Parasol. As she barely blocked the swing from her parasol and calls forth another stream of floating magma-liquid from that pool she made earlier, flowing into her free hand.

Trini takes this chance to go on the offensive and uses the parasol as a spear, jabbing at Umbra relentlessly. She was hoping having to focus on blocking the attacks would distract Umbra from forming another weapon and if she was that good then the barrage would prevent her from having a chance to strike back.

The liquid had come but was only semi-formed as she wanted it to be. He backed away and allowed the rubbery magma substance to take all the blows of her stabs, making sure their protrusions from the forced-to-be shield don't actually hit her. Meanwhile she began spinning her disk once again, readying for any opening she saw...

Trini continues jabbing at the magma, soon realizing how useless it is. She opens up the parasol, using it as protection as she flies back, this time of her own will. She stops a good distance away from Umbra and closes her weapon cheerfully. "Eh heh heh~. It seems this Chibi is rusty. You mortals have really gotten better over the years~. I can only imagine how much better the stronger people are." Her eyes widen as she imagines it. "Wah~! I'd be in serious trouble," she finishes with a giggle.

Umbra looked at the girl slightly confused. She was a good opponent, but so cheerful about the prospect of fighting, no seriousness in the least. Like some kind of antagonist, but she knew she wasn't..

She decided to keep the half-formed magma in that form, as t proved effective for absorbing attacks and not breaking so easily, taking a stance where she was with her disc still spinning.

Seeing that Umbra wasn't going to be moving, she huffs and pouts. "Aaw. You're gonna attack first this time? Guess that means I gotta make the first move." She swings the parasol over her shoulder and a cloud like material surrounds it, forming a strap to keep it attached to her back. She claps her hands together and separates them slowly, forming 2 swords of divine energy. For some reason though, the area begins to smell like a bouquet of roses and love itself. She giggles cheerfully again as she twirls her swords. "Here I come~!" With that, she jets towards Umbra in a blur of pink and blue, moving quicker than before. Instead of attacking from the front, she zips to the side of Umbra without the disk and slashes across with both swords.

holding her ground as she charged, Umbra quickly spread a blanked of shadow energy around her feet, so that she would feel exactly where Parasol had intended to go. The instant she slashed at Umbra, she thrust her rubbery blanket-shield towards her, since that was in her hand closest, and it proceeded to engulf Parasol, from her waist to her head, effectively trapping her and stopping the slash. As this happened Umbra turned and aimed the spinning blade-disk towards Parasol's legs.

Trini frowns as she sees herself being trapped and before the magma stuff could take her arms, she reverts the swords back into an energy shape. She shoots one down to take the blow of the disk and shoots the other at Umbra.

The blade headed towards Umbra would be caught by the rubbery shield, and would be taken in Umbra's free hand as she let the veil fall to the ground. Now she had a magma disk and an energy beam, which she promptly covered with her own shadow energy, sealing it as her own, for now.

Trini glares at her as she sulks and hops backwards away from Umbra. She opens her mouth as though to say something, but her bottom lip begins to quiver and she sniffles. She holds her hands up to her eyes as she really starts to cry. "Wah~! Y-You...you...You meanie head!" She removes her hands, letting the tears flow freely. "You tried to deleg me!"
