The Unknown enters the Cobalt Crag

*Unknown walked slowly everywhere now-a-days from suffering a muscle decay disease in his leg muscle. Limping on his staff he acquired back in the village of Reality held his soul partner. He never forgotten what it's power held. It was quite destructive, and could possibly kill Unknown. Yet Unknown came to this place to acquire knowledge of a secret hidden energy that surged into his mind. Luring him here.* "I wonder what beast lurk here..."

The aura that constantly blanketed the grounds of the Crag parted as Unknown made his journey, not wanting to get near the decaying leg. It was as if the aura knew of Unknown's ailment, or perhaps it was something else...

*Unknown continued to walk through the crag. He indeed felt a strong aura from this place, it seemed different than any other place he visited on Vescrutia, yet this wasn't his home planet it was indeed another planet or if it was a planet or another dimension. Unknown continued to lean most of his weight on the one side where the staff was. Unknown began to wonder what this strong energy was. Was it a creature making this, or was it the power of the energy in this place that drawn Unknown here.*

A few bright shimmers shone in the air around Unknown, and a small breeze swept past him as well. There was the feeling of another strong presence, not too far off. Then, from right behind him, a voice..

"You've come a long way.. Isn't that so."

Behind Unknown stood a taller figure than he, completely black like a silhouette, save his glowing eyes and bright folded wings..

*Unknown felt something behind him, gripping his staff tightly in his one hand it illuminated slightly in the small area around it. Unknown's face was shown a little bothered and scared. Yet when was Unknown ever scared? What that ever possible? Or was it the disease that ran through his body. It was in fact a disease without a known cure. Unknown accepted the fact of that.* "Yes...." Unknown simply spoken. Yet he was searching for something until that voice rung in his head. Something behind him yet what was it? Attempting to calm down Unknown lowered his grip on his staff, speaking softly.* "Who are you creature....what are you...?"

"Natural questions.."

The being floated around, finally stopping in front of Unknown so he could see him properly.

"You're under an ailment, and yet you continue to venture this way.. This is in your nature however, the thrill of adventure cannot be subdued so easily.."

"That's right...yet how do you know of this stuff of me?" *Unknown seemed quite oblivious and puzzled on how the creature could understand Unknown in a way no other new. Unknown's eye rested upon the dark creature in front of him.*

"Your mental leak gives yourself a way in methods mortals can scarcely understand... Though tell me, how did this ailment come to you?"

*Unknown looked at the creature, lifting his hand to the top of his staff. The other grasping his leg. He continued to look at the creature and spoken calmly.* "It's a disease all of my members of my family receive at a certain age and live on with it. yet with my soul partner, it was severally injured almost beyond repair...I doubt it can be healed and even cured....using my mental state of telekinesis puts strain on the body of where my clan rest the pain...I chose my legs..."

"Well that's no good for a man of your rank..."

The aura of the Crag picks up speed, swirling around the two of them and making it seem a tad chaotic, but calming at the same time.

"An Officer must be able-bodied, at the very least."

"An Officer I am, yet everyone even of high rank has there weaknesses and deformities...just like any other person in this world..." *Unknown answered the creature with a brisk short answer.*(sorry for the short post)

The figure began to pace slowly in the area, aura still swirling madly around them. His shape began to give off black wisps like smoke, yet still kept his physical form.

"Tell me, what do you think of these lands you've found yourself in.."

"These lands...?" *Unknown tried to string together words to form a perfect answer to reply to this question. In fact Unknown hasn't explored the entire world yet only a few places. He wasn't sure what to think of the land, it wasn't home, his home. Yet Unknown knew he wanted change and he sought to allow this land to be his new home. He liked the land and couldn't deny this, it was better than the planet Vescrutia.* "This place is something words cannot describe, in a good way. This place feels like home to me now..."

"Just as I thought..."

The figure stopped in front of Unknown, eyes glowing more brightly and wings unfolding. The aura of the Crag flowed straight to Unknown's legs and entire lower body, purifying them and ridding them of the affliction of disease. They were reverted to a state previous to when the affliction hit, fully healed for good this time.

The aura calmed down afterward and the figure folded his wings once more, looking dead into Unknown's eyes.

"Be proud, for you have been chosen as a protector of these lands. May you go far with Escalus's good wishes... with my wishes."

*Unknown felt the strange aura infiltrating and penetrating Unknown's legs. Closing his eye's, the pain and stress releasing from the bonds that were placed there by Unknown's means. He felt a great large amount of weight lifted from his body. Unknown was free again. Unknown reopened his eyes redirecting his gaze into Escalus's eyes also. Unknown felt the eyes of the creature baring down on him also.* "A protector of these lands? I never thought there was evil that lurks in these lands..."

Although his mouth couldn't be seen, Escalus could be seen visibly smiling, perhaps with his eyes..

"You have.. much to learn. I bid you to fare well and be at ease.. for all will make sense in time."

Escalus floated slightly off the ground, and with a flap of his wings he was up in the air, dissipating into black mist. The aura of the Crag quickly returned to normal, this time embracing Unknown eagerly.

"Sense in time eh....?" *Unknown continued to look at the man, even as he mysteriously disappeared. Unknown felt the strong aura disappear from the place and return to normal, his legs moved normal, yet why did Unknown persist on carrying the staff around? Unknown continued forward through the crag*
