Kumiko's Room

Though he was a rival guild member, Squall got access to Kumiko's unused room when he showed her unconscious body to the clerk. Moving towards there, he laid her in the bed, and was off. Nothing was left of his presence save a large green feather that happened to fall from his hat, landing on her chest.

------Time Skip-------

Kumi would slowly come-to, and roll over. She woke up completely when she did so, and noticed that she was in a bed. This shocked her upright, as she looked around to find out where she was. The feather floated down into her hands when she sat up, and she looked at it and stared for a moment. She tried to get out of bed to look for someone to ask, but she fell onto the floor as she tried to stand up, strange feather still in hand.

She remained on the floor for a few minutes, trying to recall what she was doing before waking up in this place. ...Hm... OH thats right. She was training by a river of magma, to improve her abilities in extremely hot environments she was naturally weaker in. Did the heat finally get to her? Did she overwork herself and pass out from fatigue? Or was it energy loss? She couldnt remember. Just trying to focus that hard on remembering made her head hurt.

She tried to stand up again, and managed to this time, albeit a bit shaky. She hobbled over to the door opening it cautiously. It was then she recognized she was in the Academy. But how did she get there? The last thing she remembered was being underground with all the magma; she was sure of it.

She walked up to the clerk at the counter, and inquired as to how she arrived here. She fingered the feather in her hand, as she listened to the clerk half-halfheartedly explain. She lifted up the feather and asked if it belonged to the man who'd been gracious enough to bring her in. The clerk looked up quickly and nooded.

She clutched the feather to her chest, and ran out the door. She needed to find this kind gentleman somewhere and properly thank him for helping her. She wasnt sure how shed manage to accomplish this, but she felt it nessecary to try.

------ Slightly Large Time Skip-------

Stumbling into her room after her terrifying affair with Kimi, nearly walking on all fours at this point to try in her attempt to run. She half fell and half sprawled out on the floor, face down. She lies there panting and shaking for a bit. Once she got up, she slowly moved over to her small sink in the bathroom. She washed the blood off her face, letting the cold water calm her. She then slowly returned to her bed, falling heavily onto the firm mattress.

As she lay there, silent, she let her mind try and wrap around what all had happened. She couldnt understand it. What had prompted it? She hadnt done ANYTHING. Why would she deserve to get treated in such a foul way? She was always nice, sweet and caring about everyone. This had come out of nowhere, and she couldnt understand what had caused it. She was slowly getting frustrated, cause it made absolutely no sense to her whatsoever. She rolled over, sighing.
