An exam for Vylence?

(*sigh* Just what I wanted to avoid, an exam that takes over a month to finish...going on two.)

(Thats because Lucius is currently busy with college)

He was on last weekend for a good few hours, and the one before...oh well, Do you want to rank Vylence? :]

"If it weren't such a difficult task then it wouldn't be an appropriate exam."

The ball was struck by the sabre, its spikes disappearing and taking its original glowing form, almost immaterial. As it was hit though, the ball flew as if it had been hit from the side, flying horizontally away from Vylence. It went on this way for a good while, before emitting a wretched screeching noise and speeding twice as fast right back towards Vylence's face.

-Due to the irritating screech emitting from the glowing ball, Vylence would cover his ears.-
"Touche`"
-Vylence spoke with a grin planted on his face. As the ball raced back toward him, His cloak flew open, as several shadows with glowing red eyes and pointed mouthes extended outward to the ball. The shadows' mouthes opened wide, ready to consume the ball. Unbeknownst to Lucius, these shadows were different from all the others used so far, and wouldn't be dispersed by light.-

The ball sped right on through the mouthes, overpowering them with sheer density of overactive energy. The ball had been already far too energized for its own good, so now it was beginning to get a little unstable. The screeching only intensified as it sped towards Vylence's torso, threatening to rip right through him if he wasn't careful.

-He smirked as the ball came towards him like a vulture to a carcass. This ball was all over the place, so all Vylence had to do was wait for it to come to him. He formed another shade vortex in his hand as the shadows coming from his cloak let the ball come right into them. They were regenerating as ball was tearing through them, and given that they were apart of Vylence, the shadows were quite durable.-
"Shade fusion!"
-He smashed the shade vortex into the shadow, infusing the two again to give the shadows black hole like properties. With the ball going right into the mouths, it would begin to get forcefully sucked into the endless abyss of the shade infused shadows while suffering from the deconstructing effects as well. This was extremely powerful, so retreating from in the mouths would be futile. Vylence waited to see this ball get sucked into oblivion. If Lucius had a last ditch effort to save this ball, he may want to pull it out now.-

It was just an energy ball, no need to really rescue it from anything. And by now Lucius had just about seen all he needed to for the exam. Raising a hand to halt Vylence's actions after the ball was deconstructed, he crossed his arms and looked towards him.

"Your talents are nothing short of excellent, though your utilization of these needs work. 5th Rank."

((Also tone down on the whole shadows creating black hole vortexes thing. Please?))

(I was only using black hole to describe the power of the suction, but considering how plentiful shadows are, and the power I have with them, I will comply with your terms.)

-Once the ball was deconstructed, Vylence's shadows retracted into his cloak. He gave a single, heavy pant beneath his scarf, but kept his demeanor cool and prideful.-
"But of course...We shall meet again-"
-He muttered as shadows began to spiral around him, engulfing him in his entirety. Once the swirl of shade dissipated, the only left of Vylence was his lingering echo.-
"Blackthorn."
