At last! The Kido Arts!

Tatsui slid open the tanned panel which held as the classroom door. Behind it, the empty classroom was just as described. Empty. There were no students in the seats, and some looked like they've never been used ever. Tatsui blushed both in embarrassment and fury.

'How could no one want to learn this art...they must be dull in the brain.'

The girl, still wearing her traditional costume (the black and white garb was so fitting and comfortable she couldn't help but keep it on), stepped into the vacant room. She kept the sliding door open as she wanted any person to see she was in there and then took a seat up front, sliding her katana out of her belt since sitting with it would be uncomfortable. Kaza had been sleeping for the last 2 hours since he said he wanted a nap. It was oddly quiet...she was used to Kaza's constant ramblings now. At least she didn't feel lonely...but now she did. And uncomfortable.

"Kaza..!"

A groan emitted from the katana and loud snore. She covered her ears as if it would make a difference.

"KA. ZA..!"

It was no use. To be honest, Tatsui didn't even want to wake him up.

'He might throw a fit...argh..'

She thought to herself, cringing. For now, she'd just have to wait for a person to come teach her.

In an instant, the Order member from before flash-stepped into the classroom, appearing at the front end of it.

"Why do we have all these desks anyway.."

He sighed and cracked his knuckles. What better way to introduce the newcomer to Kido than a practical use?

"Hado #58. Tenran."

A small spiraling tornado would push the desks to the farthest end of the room, breaking some, but making a fairly neat pile of desks. The rest of the room was now clear, as it should have been in the first place.

"Now then, Kido~"

Tatsui was so surprised by his entrance that she nearly dropped Kaza. She was glad she didn't. Who knows what he would do. She looked up at the Order Member...maybe he didn't want to know her name? Perhaps her name was just insignificant. Her progress was much more important, she convinced herself and placed her katana on her lap and her arms on the desk, listening intently.

"Y-Yes! Please teach me."

"Well then."

He crossed his arms and stood still, planting his feet to begin the lesson.

"Kido is the focusing of Reiatsu, to form various spells, known as the Demon Arts. All Shinigami learn these at some point. There are two forms of Kido!"

He emphasized this by holding his fingers in front of him in a '2.'

"The Way of Binding, or Bakudo, and the Way of Destruction, Hado. Both have many spells, and are classified the same way; by difficulty. Each spell has a number, ranging from 1 all the way up to 99, 1 being the easiest."

He paused, looking her over and feeling her reiatsu. She was still new, and lowly ranked at that.

"At your level, you'd be able to master up to #10. Ah, there's one thing as well. Each spell has an incantation to recite before performing, else the spell might fail entirely. Though, with higher levels of mastery one can skip the incantation, but the spell will still be weaker."

He was getting off track.

"Ahem! Anyway, any questions?"

"Easy to understand so far, sempai.."

She said. But she was getting quite restless.

"When do we actually get to start? What are we learning first?"

"Good, let's start with a way of Binding."

He pulled an attack dummy from the closet, dragging it out to the main floor and invited her to stand in front of it.

"The most basic ones usually need no incantation, since they're so.. basic. So try this. Focus your Reiatsu, then speak clearly. Bakudo #1, Sai!"

The dummy's arms became locked behind its back, and it fell over pitifully. The spell wore off soon after, and the Order member propped it back into place.

"You try."

Tatsui slowly got out of the seat, leaving Kaza behind on the desk. She then stood in front of the dummy. Slowly she focused the Reiatsu in her body and in one go, she cleared her throat and said the words nervously

"B-Bakudo #1, S-Sai!"

There was a moments pause, and then its arms shot backwards as if breaking them instead of binding them. Tatsui gave a small yelp at the sight, nervously laughing.

"Sorry..That was..A...A little rough, d-don't ya think..?"

The Order member waved his hand over the dummy, and its status was reverted back to normal. He then looked the Tatsui, his expression unreadable as always.

"Speech is essential in performing Kido. Say the spell wrong and it all falls apart. Try it again, clear your mind, and speak with confidence. We won't progress until you perform Sai correctly."

Tatsui nodded, this time with determination. But first she walked over to her katana on the desk, touching it with two fingers.

"THIS IS EASY! What the hell is wrong?!"

Kaza yelled, sounding angry. She knew it. He would be awake when he felt her failed spell. Tatsui gave a laugh, then it faded to a small smile. That was all she needed for self confidence.

Stepping up to the dummy, Tatsui breathed in deep. With one gesture, she said under her breath...

"Bakudo #1, Sai!"

The dummy's arms snapped almost mechanically in place while its torso fell forward. Tatsui gave a cheer mentally, a large grin on her face. Her first successful Kido spell!

"Impressive indeed." (-Abari would say as he was watching the new girl here perfecting her very first kiddo. it reminded him of his academy days back in the soul society but no matter about that now. Abari had come here to hone in on his kiddo some more importantly combining different kiddo but he ran across the girl and the order member and decided to stop on by.-)

"Very nice, you make it look like it was too easy."

Tatsui turned to the stranger in surprise, blushing at his compliment. It was the very first spell she done but it was the most basic, so she didn't feel as if she should be too proud but nonetheless...

"Thank you...I've still got a ton to learn though, so haha, good luck to me I guess."

She said happily, a smile on her face. Then realizing she didn't know his name, she immediately asked with curiosity.

"But can I ask who you are? I've never seen you before."

"Just call me Abari." (-Abari would be focusing on her soul as he felt her navitas energy within her body. It felt fresh and ready to be expanded much like how his was at first-)

"I see your a fellow shrew as well, and dont worry once you get the basics the rest would be even more fun to learn." (-Abari would say as he held out his hand as it glowed with purple flames knows as Haien or the abolishing flames in English-)

"Like this spell for instance."

"What is it? Your energy...or is that a kind of spell? It's purple."

She held out her own hand. It was not a flame, but an aura of light, pastel green. Tatsui looked at their opposite energies, his purple flames and her soft aura. It was an energy that was her magick, along with some Navitas. She laughed a little, smiling.

"My energy is green. Like my eyes."

Tatsui allowed it to fade away and she blushed instantly.

"It's still in development..! So don't judge too harshly, haha."

"Actually this is a kiddo spell." (-Abari would dissolve the haien as he would show his own navitas energy similar to her energy but some what darker.-)

"this is my Navitas energy likes yours."(-The navitas energy would then turn into a burning red.-)

"And this is my Reiatsu, its the majority type of energy that I use. yours probably be green as well, or perhaps a different color."(-Abari would glance at the katana that was on the desk and noticing that she didnt have one on her person at the time.-)

"Is that your zanpaktou?"

"EHEM!"

The ignored Order member made himself noticed again.

"Tatsui, good first spell, but let's not get ourselves distracted."

He shot a glare in Abari's direction.

"Unless you're here to partake in the lessons, then please, don't interfere with the students."

"Right..right my bad continue, i need help in some advanced studies but I'll wait till your finish."(-Abari would place his hands behind his head and smile hoping no to make the order member mad at him.-)

"Yep, that's him."

She sauntered over to the purple and black katana, carrying it her hands. For some reason Kaza was quiet. Oh well. Returning back to Abari, Tatsui held the katana by its sash around the guard.

"He's often very noisy but...his name is Kaza. Oh right! And my name. I'm Tatsui--"

She immediately the minute she heard the Order Member's cough for attention. Tatsui laughed nervously, turning to the other man.

"S-Sorry! I forgot.."

Her body sat back into the desk quickly, embarrassed.

"Stand back up now, we're not finished with the field work."

He cracked his knuckles again, focusing on the dummy.

"This is a Destructive art. Hado. Also level 1, so it should be simple to master."

He held out a finger, focusing white Reiatsu in it.

"Hado #1, Sho!"

The dummy was pushed back several feet, wobbling on its feet before standing still once again.

After the feeling of doing a successful Kido spell not too long ago, Tatsui stepped up to the plate. Taking a breath, she extended a palm.

"Hado #1, Sho."

An identical white light shot out from her palm and at the dummy, being pushed back a few feet. It couldn't catch its balance however, so it clattered to the floor. Tatsui laughed a little, going over to pick it up and standing it upright again.

"I did it right, didn't I?"

He nodded.

"Yep, that's exactly what Sho is supposed to do."

Standing the dummy upright again, he contemplated something.

"I wonder if you're ready for higher level spells. You'll need incantations for those above level 20, however."

He situated himself, and readied his hand.

Ye Lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south!"

A bright red ball appeared in his hand.

"Hado #31, Shakkaho!"

The red ball of fire shot from his hands, hitting the dummy directly, which shook a bit but was somehow completely unscathed. The same couldn't be said for the charred wall behind it though..

Tatsui went to the same position, exactly as the member did. No longer was she shy. Taking a breath, she started.

"Ye lord! Mask of blood and...flesh, all creation flutter of wings ye who beats the name of Man! Inferno...and....and..."

Tatsui paused, blinking...then chuckled nervously. Her hand returned to her former place, scratching the back of her head and laughing.

"I...I forgot the words....."

...Of course she couldn't memorize it in one go. He took up a piece of chalk, writing down the full incantation on the blackboard, followed by the number and name of the spell.

"Now try."

"Much better, thanks!"

She said cheerfully and then positioned herself again in front of the dummy. Her head was turned to the chalkboard that was next to the dummy, but it was still visible enough for her to see both the dummy and the board.

"Ye Lord. Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man. Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south"

A red ball appeared in her hand, what looked like red electricity crackled around the ball in her hand.

"Hado #31, Shakkaho!"

The ball released from her hand, it hitting hard against the dummy. The dummy crackled as if it took in the red electricity around it, but still stood well. The back of the wall had already partially caved in by the constant abuse.

Turning to her teacher she gave him a happy grin.

"That was it, wasn't it? I did good, right?"

"Perfectly."

He took out a book from the desk, one of many copies. On it was the title Guide to Basic Kido - Beginner's Version, and he handed it to her.

Standard-issue guide to all Kido, Bakudo and Hado, up to #35. Remember at your level right now, anything above 20 you'll need an incantation for, which your enemy won't give you much chance to do." (1 post to type the incantation, 1 post to cast the spell.)
