Pokemon Searching

"Silvan Serenity. That's what they call this place."

"Too quiet, bian!!"

"Kaza, that's cause you're too noisy."

The girl and her katana walked through the forests of the area, looking for any Pokemon that would cross her path.

A wandering Tailow would chirp once, before landing and plopping itself straight on Tatstui's hat.

"Are there any Pokemon around..?"

"There has to be, bian!

Apparently the girl didn't even notice the small bird on her hat, still walking calmly through the trees.

The Tailow was slightly aggravated by the fact that its perch was moving, and shifted a little trying to get comfortable. Finally it got fed up and pecked Tatsui's hat quite hard.

"GAHH! What was that!"

She took her hat off quickly, looking at the small bird.

"It's a...a..."

The name escaped her..what was this again?

"Tai..low..I think."

"Chirrip~"

It smiled happily and carelessly at Tatsui, open beak and closed eyes. It was evidently extremely friendly for its kind.

"You seem like you really like me..."

She held her finger out to stroke the small bird's head, and down it's back to feel the soft feathers.

"Feel like coming with me? You can stay out if you'd like. I wouldn't like to stay in a cooped up place like a Pokeball..."

It ruffled its feathers at the pet, and fluttered its wings at the request. Its single open eye gave Tatsui a happy look that signified acceptance.

Taking a Pokeball at her waist, Tatsui gave the bird a little signal.

"If you get in now, then I'll let you out immediately and we can go hunting for more friends."

It gave the pokeball's button a peck, and it was caught in no time, safe in Tatsui's hand.

As promised, Tatsui pressed the button on the Pokeball to let the little bird out...it was very pretty, she realized.

"Come on, let's go make some more friends."

She walked on through the woods in search of more she would encounter.

As she moved along, there was a small green patch on the side of a tree, slowly working on eating a leaf 5 times its size.

"I'll call you...('RAINBOWSHOTGUNBASEBALLBA--') Shou! It means to fly in my home language. Kinda appropriate right?"

She said to the Tailow, innocently passing by the Caterpie.

The Caterpie let out a low sigh as Tatsui passed; yet another trainer going by without even paying notice. Oh, how lonely the poor Caterpie would forever be... As she kept walking though, she would no doubt notice the other green thing frolicking in the field. It was apparently attacking another tree, probably self-training or something.

Returning to the Caterpie, she picked it up but didn't catch it.

"I wonder how strong you are, now that so many people have passed by you."

Tatsui gave a soft giggle. She wasn't good with bugs, but this one looked kind of cute. She would see how well this one behaved as she approached the other Pokemon. For a moment she had an idea...perhaps...setting the Caterpie down, Tatsui concentrated on a nearby tree that was close to the Chikorita.

"Ha!"

From her hand, using Biology, a razor sharp leaf from her hand appeared, slicing the tree once and then returning to do it again. Vines appeared, wrapping around the tree, a binding technique.

"Hado Shi! Byakurai!"

The Kido came out from her palm, a beam of blue crashed into the tree. It wasn't too strong, since Tatsui didn't particularly concentrate, but it was enough to burn a hole through the tree half way across.

The Chikorita stood there quite dumbfounded, its eyes wide open as it stared at its tree being mercilessly destroyed in front of it. It looked from that tree to whomever attacked it, Tatsui, and began to back away from her slowly, slightly shaking.

"Jus' kidding.."

She laughed a little, the vines falling away and back into the ground. It was time she demonstrated the other side of her. Tatsui looked over to the Chikorita, smiling and giving a wink before placing a hand on the tree. The use of Biology began to happen; the wood grew back to what it was mere minutes ago and the bark reformed, back to it's natural state. The tree swished with no compliant.

Shou gave a small whistle, as if impressed and Kaza laughed at her antics.

"Only a fool would be impressed with that performance."

"Oh quiet. Not like you could do any better."

"Eh, bian."

She felt him give a light shrug.

"Probably not."

The Chikorita stared at Tatsui for a bit, registering all that had just happened, before showing an angry face ( >:[ ) and lunging for Tatsui, its top leaf spinning to give off multiple Razor Leaves.

Tatsui drew Kaza with a small smile, knowing this would happen. If it was to be a contest..it would be a friendly one. Every Razor Leaf that came at her, she sliced in two, leaving them harmless...except one. She let it graze her arm a little, leaving a small scratch.

"Ow..!"

A hand reached to cover the scratch as if hurt, a shy smile up at the Pokemon.

"Biiiiii...."

The Chikorita was certainly feisty. It was still quite in the battle moodm, and made no hesitation to give a hard Tackle to Tatsui's legs.

Tatsui called upon air to lift her for 5 seconds, and dodged the Chikorita. Her feet touched the ground again and with her scabbard, she hit it on the head, but not too hard as to defeat it completely.

"You're a tough one aren't ya! Hehe, I respect a Pokemon like you. I wouldn't like a companion that didn't have enough spirit."

As the scabbard came down to Chikorita's head, its top leaf began spinning rapidly once again as it sent a few more Razor Leaves to fend it off, followed by an attempt to Vine Whip and entangle Tatsui's legs.

Standing still, she refused to be tripped and instead vines crept up her legs to keep her steady. From her hand, she released a small fireball that sped towards the Chikorita. It was a little less than half its size.

"Biii!"

The Chikorita had no time to react, and was hit by the fireball, its left front leg burnt. It lay on the ground in pain, wincing but keeping an eye open, if only to glare at Tatsui.

Using Kaza, she sliced off the vines off her legs, then walked over to the Chikorita. She bent down, one hand brushing the ground gently. Looking at the wound, it wasn't serious. At least if she had it, it wouldn't be...but to the little Pokemon, it would be another story.

"Now stay still."

With the scabbard she made sure to keep the chikorita's head upwards to not harm her, her right hand began to heal it very quickly. Biology...her first study was what she knew the most...and so healing the Chikorita happened within a few seconds.
