To See If It Can Be A Zanpakuto

William would enter the Zanpakuto section of the Order looking to see if he could use his own soul fused sword as a Zanpakuto. His sword was a behemoth blade measuring ten feet and 3 feet with the blade was mostly made of the bones of his old wife laced with metal. His wife's soul was the spirit fused with the blade. The blade was a tremendous weapon already possessing many of it's own abilities.

William would set the blade on the ground and look around to see if anyone was here. As it seemed empty to him he would lean on his blade and start sleeping.

An Order Member approached him after a while and poked him awake.

"S-Sir? Did you need help with something?"

William startled by being awoke would take a swing at the order member with his fist. Just before his fist would collide with the order members face he would stop.

"It's best not to startle me like that" he say leaning on the blade yawning.

"I was wondering if my Bane of Blowing Souls here could be turned into one of those Zanpakuto things" he said.

"Hm."

Looking at the blade, the member shook his head.

"I'm sorry. No it cannot be turned into one. Unfortunately, Zanpakutos are spirits that lie within you and use the energy called reiatsu. However...this blade is neither a spirit within you nor does it use any kinda of energy even close to Reiatsu.."

The Member seemed to have glasses, as his hand went into his hood to push them up.

"If you wanted a Zanpakuto...then, why it would have to be a separate sword. Yes it would have to be, indeed."

"Well it'd have to be long and huge. Not one of those tooth pick katana's" he said as william was a rather huge man himself at 7 foot 4 inches.

"Your Zanpakuto isn't given to you by another person. It is the weapon that lies within you. So if it ends up a katana, then that is what your spirit wants from you. And there is nothing we can do about that, then."

The man said casually, stepping back a little bit to give him space.

"Now how does one go about doing this. To unleash the spirit within my other sword I usually just broke it or cracked it" he would say.

"It's the other way around, you see. There is a spirit that lies within you that just needs to be awakened! It's difficult to tap, you may find, but with some help, everyone can communicate with theirs. When you do, your Zanpakuto will appear before us."
