| So, as you might've noticed, we completely scrapped the old way of displaying character ranks, in favor of a much more reliable system. Power levels are now completely represented by the amount of stars in your character's Rank. How's that work? Well, it's pretty simple. There are a total of 7 power ranks, each represented by a number of stars. For instance, a character with 5 stars in their rank is stronger than characters with 4 stars, 3 stars, etc. Here's how it's laid out, in relation to the ranks most of us are used to from the "olden days" - One star, the lowest on the chain. Equivalent to complete beginners, used to be solely known as Genin. - Two stars, one up from beginner. Used to be just known as Chuunin. - Three stars, formerly Special Jounin. - Four stars, signifying expertise in a character. The average experienced fighter. Used to be Jounin. - Five stars; characters who have proven themselves to be above average. Formerly Anbu. - Six stars, given to characters who are above and beyond the skill of an average fighter. Formerly Sannin. - Finally seven stars, signifying complete mastery of a character's skills, known to be a living legend. There was no real "rank" for these except Kage, but that was only a leader rank so.. This is just the Master's rank. One last thing to note, the names of each rank will vary depending on what nation you join. A ninja village-nation may have the old Genin-Sannin ranks, while a Kingdom can have ranks of Knighthood, or anywhere in between. Any confusion about the system? Drop a PM or post it here~ | |

| Majorly important thing I forgot to add. From here on out, the leaders of a nation can be any rank at all, from level 1 to 7. This is because the leaders shouldn't necessarily be determined by strength, but by mental leadership ability. That's why their elite guards, typically level 7s, protect them. | |

| In other words, the same rules apply as the guild leaders. They are figureheads in the social community, who have guards which are adequate enough to protect them. (( My avie is so out of place here...she's all 'I'm adjustin' mah hats...' )) | |

| Yeah, go ahead xD. Though, the only one that doesn't have a rank right now is Kama, cause he's still deciding on transferring a character or making a new one.
Edit: And Rion, cause I dunno what he's doing as far as that goes either. | |

| Yes, you can easily transfer characters from Ves to here and keep a rank, but in order to do so you need to dimension-warp in an unnatural way. Be as creative as you can with that. And yes, transfering a character from Ves to here means killing it permanently on Vessy. | |

| Btw, are the rules for ranking exams universal, or decided by each guild? | |

| well i already suggested one idea to skye and it involves me being turned completley to crimson tar the same stuff my second skin is made of, liquified and leaking through the earth only to taint another human and be reborn here. and it works with minimul changes to the powers and genetics too | |

| who does the rankings? the guild or nation? where do we take exams? also, is there a cut off point to whom can take an exam? for example...it was a long time on vescrutia before Susanoo got the opportunity to rank as an anbu(but he'd turned evil already so he had to forfeit). Jounin weren't allowed to rank any higher unless they were chosen to do so. Is it the same here? | |

| Any rank can request an exam, and they're done by guilds in their appropriate ranking forums. | |
