A need to test ourselves

*I would wait on the grasslands, waiting for someone to spar*

From a misty corner, Squall would walk forward, also looking for a possible sparring partner. His hat was shrouded over his eyes once again, only one red glint looking at who he was facing, most likely his opponent. Not saying a word, he simply nodded in acknowledgement.

*I also nod, drawing my Katana, and oddly, taking a Katonjin-kan stance rather than my normal stance, ready for the attack to come, as I would let him have it*

Squall was unmoving for a couple second, leaning back on his leg. Then in a flash of green, he dashed, straight for Kasane, His eyes were both very visible now, glowing intensely red as he extended his right arm for a slash*

*as he neared I would do nothing, especially not look at his eyes, but instead at his chest, focusing at his core movements. When at the last few moments, he slashes at me, I pivet, as I step around the guy, so that Im side to side with him, and then turn around bringing my katana for a slash to the back. With the Katonjin-kan stance, the blade would immediately ignite in flames as the Katana neared his back*

Using the momentum from his slash, Squall made it arc 180 degrees to clash evenly with Kasane's sword. The fire was hot, but Squall didn't mind terribly. As long as he stayed away from the blade at all costs, he'd be fine. His next maneuver was to leap upwards just over Kasane, then immediately lunge down like a spear at blinding speeds, arm-blade out and at the ready.

*Since Squall would have pushed to gain momentum to leap into the air, I use the extra momentum of the push myself, so that I go sliding backwards, so that when Spuall lands, Im again behind him. My katana, still ignited, slashes forward, completing a series of 10 cuts each at different angles, and as the slashes were put forth, a raging force of flame would spread out from my blade, as it would cover further than the blade, so that if Squall would try to block with his blade, be would be burnt. I also focus my chakra into my feet, focusing earth and wind chakra, so that wind chakra would spread out, making the flames from the katana reach out even further. I would also combine the earth and wind chakra, so that the earth under us would be transformed into sand, and that the sand would curl around Squalls legs, trying to entrap him, so that he couldn't move, as the sand would hold him tight*
