Test Me.

*while the Convenant was being completely and absolutely destroyed by some unknown antagonist and her foot was being decimated into many tendons and bones, Alyss waited at the ranking cliff for a proctor*

"Queen Alyss, come for an exam..."

A man dressed as a typical katana user came to the cliff, spinning his blade casually around a finger using the large hole at the end of its hilt. He looked somewhat lazy, but in fact he was among the veterans. This samurai was a 3rd Rank.

"The exam'll last until you either run outta energy or run outta pain tolerance. Or if yer on the verge'a death. Got that?"

*she twitched at that word: queen*

"No need to be so formal...and pain tolerance...? I think I can take it."

*Alyss stretched a little*

"Yea, we'll see then.."

He made a certain swing with his blade in front of him, as six pillars of energy, glowing white, formed around him. They were fairly solid, but at the same time looked to be completely immaterial. Though, he'd wait for Alyss to be ready to start before actually making an offensive move...

*she first stretched her legs, then her arms. Yawning, she cracked her neck to the side and then jumped up and down on the tip of her toes. Alyss then formed her body into a stance (Shotokan), one that she has not done in a very long time*

"Your move?"

He looked at her oddly; he'd expected her to take the offensive after giving her so many opportunities. Yet she didn't, and now he had to make his move from a distance. Sighing, he raised his blade and dipped it into the nearest pillar, holding it there for a few seconds. Immediately after, he swung it twice in succession, first vertically and then horizontally, sending a fast paced cross-wave of white energy screaming towards Alyss.

*she took a breath, and instead of backing upwards, she dashed towards it. As if she was doing a run jump, Alyss jumped upwards into one of the spaces the wave provided, shooting a puff of air upon the wave in case it were too long for her to make it and landed on the other side of it on her boots. With a slight jump, she launched herself into a flying kick, heel first at her proctor*

He backed a bit, leaning on his left foot behind him for support, eyes never losing track of Alyss's movements. He swung, as expected of a swordsman reacting to a kick, towards her boot. Since it was steel-bottomed the blade wouldn't pierce through, as it too was simply ordinary metal, but it would ideally throw her off balance and most importantly, avoid a steel boot to the face.

*she immediately flipped off the parry, landing in a crouched position in front of him. With a cry, she let out a rolling kick, a backflip kick upwards aimed to the bottom of his chin, completing the flip with several to give some distance between the two fighters*

He would swing again as she leapt, he force sending him sliding a couple feet back. She was good on the offense afterall.. As he slid and while Alyss was still in the air, he tucked into his haori and out came three shuriken, aimed at her arm, leg and sorso in midair.

*with both hands, she drank in the momentum of the shurikens (in a horizontal position, she dodged one that aimed for her head, therefore she only could grab two), "holding" them in the palms of her hands. In the middle of the shuriken. When Alyss landed on her feet, she shot them back at the user at higher speeds than he shot them. She followed them closely herself, keeping on the pressure of the fight*

He deflected them with his blade, arcing it in such aw way to hit them both at once. They flew to other ends of the battlefield, away from both of the fighters. He backed up slightly towards his white pillars. Holding out his katana, he dipped it slightly into one pillar, then more of it until the entire sword was engulfed in the pillar. Removing his hand, he revealed that it was gone; before smirking as roughly 20 blades came up from the ground around Alyss, attempting to impale her in random angles and intervals.

*midst dash, she jumped upwards in surprise, tumbling forward to avoid the blades. Unfortunately one cut the back of her thigh as she tried to make a getaway. Either way, Alyss grew closer to her proctor. With one hand that had gathered hydrogen, she grew the small bit to the ground, the invisible bomb to be detonated. Quickly she gave a roundhouse kick to the temple*

"Guh."

He was caught off guard by the detonation, hand sweeping into the white pillar of energy he had to gather some. As the kick came, he acted on impulse to blast her back with kinetic force the opposite direction, applying it directly on the foot that tried to kick him. As he did so, a wave of blades from the ground was moving through the ground, like a tunnel snake, to slice at her from below.

'Oh god....this isn't cool...this doesn't rule at all.'

*she took in the force for a moment, then bend down further to dodge it to stop it from moving her away from her opponent. Her observant eyes watched the tunnel snake like blades run under the earth, waiting for her descent....as she fell downwards, she inverted herself so she was stomach down. Then with a strong blast of air, she blew herself off to a separate spot on the field, away from the wave of blades*

The wave halted in front of him before disappearing back into the ground. He put his hand back into a pillar and pulled out his blade once again, this time its hilt seemed to be filled with the very aura that the pillars emitted. He charged for her, trying to catch her just as she landed so she could have as little time to react as possible; he wanted to see her fight, or block, with something other than her boots...

*in an instant, as he wished for, a golden dagger appeared, blocking his blade. Alyss looked up from the ground at him, still crouched. She stood, her strength still massive, while blocking, the metal of the blade sharp and tempered. As quickly as she drew her blade, she parried his sword to tinge it backwards towards himself, stepping into a sidestep to swipe at his shoulder, close to the neck with the dagger*

As his blade was parried, the hilt naturally flew up to face Alyss. All the samurai had to do now was change the flow of momentum, 90 degrees to the side where Alyss was, so as to get the hilt, still glowing white, to hit her square in the chest. Sure, he'd take the knife blow, but he wanted to get across to Alyss just how vast the difference in their power was.

That being said, if the hilt of his blade did hit her, the kinetic force it built up would send her down into the ground, forming a deep and narrow crater just by her body flying with such force alone.

*the hilt jammed into her chest from her own force, her own foolish mistake. As she nearly sprawled from the blow, the crater she sat in a bit dusty. Coughing, a bit of blood came forth, but she blew it off as nothing and concentrated her focus upon her opponent. Taking a breath, she formed herself into a steady stance. This one was different. Her palms were open and loose, waiting for his move.

As she fell into the crater, the man tossed his blade back into one of the pillars, immediately initiating the same move from before; blades coming out from Alyss's area in the ground, but this time aided by the terrain formed by the crater; it was the perfect situation for this technique, blades coming up from all sides and angles, aided by the dip where Alyss stood.

*Alyss jumped immediately, cringing at the pain in her chest. Something was wrong internally....she had to take one of the blades as an advantage, aiming perfectly with her steel heel to one of the points, taking a very...very quick step of the blade as a platform to step on. She bounced this way and that using the same method to get out of the crater. Alyss drew her dagger once again and threw it at her proctor, aiming for the torso as a distraction. Before she left it completely, she drew in a sword from the ground, sucking it right out from the ground with her air, then took the sword in hand. It was a 2 handed sword, a large claymore. Drawing it to her side, with both hands, she gave out a cry before swinging the giant sword vertically upon her opponent*

He sidestepped the slash, though it sis leave a good gash on his left forearm. Regardless, he used Alyss's recoil from swinging the massive blade to kick her on her side, pretty hard. Though, his boots weren't metallic like Alyss's.

*she took the blow, but jammed the blade into the ground to stop her fly. The next move was risky, but she did it; taking the gigantic claymore, she readied at her side...then swung. The blade flew out of her hands towards him, spinning rapidly in a circle. The large blade took up much ground because of it's width and revolved at high speeds*

He had to make haste in grabbing a blade from the ground to defend himself, cutting his fingers as he yanked it up. It was an average longsword, but it was all he had to hit the large piece of swinging metal. They both shattered into tiny metal shrapnel, but at least he wasn't cut in half. He calmly walked back to his energy pillars and made a hand motion to deactivate them, his original katana now back in his sheath.

"You're ruthless, as any good member of this guild. Not to mention strong. Just know your limits; you're close to breaking down on the inside. 4th rank."

*he was right. Her side was hurting, probably close to the kidney and liver and her head was starting to get fuzzy. She took a bow anyway, feeling like she was going to pass out*

"Thank you for the fight."

*with one hand, she grabbed the pokeball at her side and pressed the button. Kings rolled out, knowing her state*

"To the hospital plea--"

*But Kings already knew where to go and him and Alyss left in a white light*
