.. Desdemona's powers?

Shinigami Eyes:
An ability of her clan; she can see the full names of people, and the exact time and date of their death above their head. They can also see ghosts/phantoms. With this ability, the clan is held by an ancient oath, never to reveal a person's time of death to anyone outside of a clan. As a result; Desdemona cannot warn people or their families when someone is doomed to die. She must know, and bear it on her own. Also, members of the clan cannot see other member's times of deaths; nor can they see their own.

Phantoms:

Desdemona can control ghosts and specters. Or rather; she can also talk to them, communicate with them, and fight with them. It goes hand in hand with the Shinigami eyes thing. Really, she's better at handling the dead than the living.

Ghost Communication:

With this ability, Desdemona generates a large amount of spiritual energy, channeling a spiritual path between herself and the ghost(s) she is trying to reach, communicating to them through telepathy. Basically, no one else would be ale to hear what she or the ghost says.

Phantom energy:

On her hands, Desdemona wears a pair of dark gray gloves, each with a stone crescent moon somewhere on the back of the hand. These gloves can store the power of ghosts; it doesn't take the actual ghosts, just their powers which they would only use as poltergeists. With this, she can bend the powers in her hands, and release the various forms and powers of the energies at her opponent(s).

Specter Summoning:

The crescent moons on her gloves, and the clasp on her cape glow, as specters rise from the ground, and are generally summoned from the surrounding area.

Call of the Haunting:

Basically, this jutsu allows Desdemona to send numerous amounts of ghouls and ghosts to temporarily "haunt" an opponent; Basically, the haunting will create terrifying illusions or genjutsu over the opponent. Seeing as it is cast by ghosts, and isn't actual genjutsu, bloodline traits and releases can't break through it.

Pure souls:

This has the same basic principle as phantom energy; except this technique uses only the energy of pure souls. Pure energy is also stored in Desdemona's gloves. Basically, the energy is released in a form which acts as healing; it can heal nearly any wound, internal and external, and is like a perfect form of medical jutsu.

Umbrakinesis: If you don't know what umbrakinesis is; you make me sad. But I shall explain anyways. It's control over darkness, and the element itself. With this mastery, Desdemona can bend darkness to her will, release it in a massive destructive form of energy, bend and shape it into a shield against other attacks, and etc.
